Cause the conservatives in our government are manipulative ****s.
I can't remember who said the quote but it came from the early 1900's, went along the lines of:
"If facism ever comes to the United states it will be holding a bible and waving an American flag."
Thought that was pretty spot on for our current government.
It's disgusting tbh 
**edit: looked up the guy who said it, was the author Sinclair Lewis and the exact quote is:
"When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."

Maybe you shouldn't sleep through school.
all parties attatch things to bills to make it impossible to turn it down. Don't be so naive as to think it's just conservatives or liberals that do this or that.
Also, would you be happy if state governments just started arresting people who gamble online instead? If your state says you're not allowed to gamble for real money, that doesn't end just because you're sitting at a computer.

i'm just saying the direction our country is going is a dark one indeed and you would have to be blind to not see it. If you deny that religion isn't gaining a major foothold in our politics than you're naive.
