By further manipulating the gravity fields this module can drag stargates near the ship.
Max stargate velocity: 1000m/s
Optimal range: 30km
What do you think?

That would play complete and utter havoc with the current gate-to-gate bookmarks and make them worthless because the gates keep moving around.
That seems like a bad thing, of course, but maybe not so bad because it reverts EvE to a time before instant-jumps.

lol it was first when i read the 1st reply i actually realize you meant moving a stargate huuh hehe,,,
to that no thx would make to many problems.
to the idea i read it as in 1st read, yes please lets have 30km tractor beams but still only cans, or many roids for miners, defferently not stargates hehe, a little too much friend ), plus it would add unnessesary lag i bet. |

That would be so funny in heavily populated systems, people would start playing Stargate Tug`o`War, or `See who can drag a gate the farthest distance in the shortest time`.
While everyone else tries to catch up to it so they can jump out.

I think he means acceleration gates and gateways...
A way to make deadspace a bit less tedious.

Hmm, Big Tractor Beam I.....
Why on earth (or why in space) would you want to drag a stargate? just travel the distance like other non-insta users do.
Although I think there should be a better tractor beam, maybe have a Small Tractor Beam I, II, III with better ranges say 20, 30, 40km.
