I decieded to get my first jump clone so I can go do a little 0.0 action again since I now have a very expensive set of crystal implants in my head. I figure 9.47 standings with the corp I'm good no problem make a jump clone and all set. Needless to say 30 minutes of cussing later I have to leave my corp of 1.5 years just so I can make a jump clone... The only reason is because my corp accepts new players so we have a relatively low corp standing from the constant flux of new players working their way up the faction.
All I ask is that you make the Corp/Player standing a either/or system instead of both required. I sadly will have to drop from my corp just to setup up some jump clones. Plz change this, I really liked being in the same corp for a while.

I believe the first tests and ideas with jumpclones were created in mind of use only on Motherships and Titans (cloning facilities) and then expanded onto stations use for 0.0 alliances (or maybe they were thought together ). Then they added the use of cloning with heavy disadvantages to empire based people (with this I mean people that don't have access to Conq stations and Outposts), since it was a feature planned for 0.0 alliances only. I believe though even as a harsh penalty it is, it's rather needed. A nice addiction to the standing variable would be if the corp that you are in has a good faction standing towards the corp that you are trying to install a clone (and it beeing rather lower, like 5-6).
Till then, I find it rather bad to tell you, that if you want to create clones, leave the corp and create a new one and install some clones. The whole process should take you about a week. _____________________________

1) no standings alt makes corp 2) you leave current corp and join alt's corp 3) you fly from station to staion installing jumpclones(took me about 30 minutes to do 4, but I had to cover half of Solitude to do it) 4) leave the corp and go back to your old one, or run the corp as a 'jump clone service provider'
