well...looks like we lost one scorp and one caldari cruiser. vs there 10+ BS's and multiple cruisers. guess venal is reopened ? Jade you need to take two and call me in the morning BTW nice job

That would be Biomass + Space Invaders vs NVA
Oh and we pwned them severly, that will take awhile to replace all those battleships. Well get back to licking the roids venal alliance.

roger was great teamwork between BioMass Cartel and Space Invaders. Too bad for NVA fleet nice sets of traps you had. Too bad we destroyed them all. Hammer and anvil failed. Log in at jump gate FAILED horribly.

Pox I'm still wondering what this "Hammer and Anvil" tactic you are talking about refers to. You mentioned it while we were all singing campfire songs in local. You don't seriously think that's what my little gang of 3 BS and some cruisers was up to, do you? You seriously think I'm trying to "hammer" you with a fleet that size?
I was looking for stragglers. You guys sent your entire fleet in to counter that. It had absolutley no effect on what happened later after I had resigned myself to logging.

They have taken a bit of a battering over the last week.

Cormyat,
Believe it or not, your little "fast fleet" of three BS and cruisers gave us pause.
We knew we were going to attack a numerically superior force, potentially jumping right in to where they were waiting. There was a possibility that things could have gone very bad, and we would have had to beg a hasty retreat.
Therefore, it was quite plausible that the main NVA group could have hammered us, and as we retreated your force could have put the nail in the coffin by either slowing us up, or out right blockading the surviving fleet.
Instead, killza and myself went to locate your force, and recon it. Killza and I suffered heavy damage in engaging you, but we managed to delay you long enough that the fleet arrived, and for the most part, the "anvil" was dispatched.
Your action should not go un-appreciated it by your corp and alliance. It sent killza and myself to a station some 8 jumps away to repair, and delayed the whole op by about an hour.
All in all, it was a fascinating series of small battles all the way up to the climax, and then the final treat were the handful of ships we destroyed while retreating! Including, and perhaps most mystifying, a Maller that escaped into a station, and upon which we had then given up on, only to see it re-appear 15 seconds later outside the station and launch a suicidal run against an overwhelming force. Normally, such a galant, yet futile gesture would get a hat-tip, however, in this case the pilot then spammed us that he was reporting us for using an exploit... though he didn't say which. I'm wondering, is there a "puttin'-a-cap-in-da-ass-of-a-fool" exploit? Why'd he come back out... he got away clean. 
By my count, BioMass destroyed almost thirty ships on their sorty, with 2/3 being battleships (granted, not all were NVA).
With that number of ships destroyed, and if you throw in the rumored 3 BS destroyed by sentry guns, and BioMass winning the championship, it was a good freakin' day to be a pirate!

I was in Cormyats group last night, but unfortunately had to log to it being stupid o'clock in the morning where i am.
Looks like Biomass and SPVD wiped the floor with NVA.
Good job guys, not a lot I can say except well done.

I remember a FA battle fleet getting decimated (around 17 BB's lost) by a joint m0o/sin/RUS fleet once. Sure, it was a catastrophic defeat on our part, but it did serve its purpose. It strengthen our resolve ten fold and focused our military might on those corps. Look how it turned it out. Just hang in there NVA and move forward from this loss. This is only the first battle of many to come.

For more than 1/2 that fleet it was their first engagement of that size. A lot of lessons learned, some of them quite expensive. Kudos to all for a reasonably polite and reasonably grown-up thread.

Lets not forget all the mining for all that ore for the mines you deployed im sure that cut into your battleship rehab program. Seems that you have cut off commerce to your region at least until downtime.
Btw add at one scorpion and a couple of more cruisers to SI and BM-C to your build order.

Well let's see...directly after me and my mates withdrew, there were 22 Biomass and SI in system.
I'm sure there were a few more of y'all wandering about. But that was pretty much all of you.
Of course, with you loggin off and logging back on from teamspeak, it's sometimes hard to tell how many of you might have moved, and how many of you were just lying dormant in the system.

Bobby wilson i wouldnt even try and say venal did not use a mine field to lag the hell out of us if we jumped in, we have a screeny of a HUGE minefield.
Last night we jumped through and engaged ur forces at the gate, tonight we once again came to venal and you what sat in a system? Its a shame to see a alliance who talks so much trash not even able to come and engage hostiles... oh wait i know why because you didnt want to lose the rest of your battleships... ah now its clear.
