Dr Fighter	Posted - 2006.10.04 18:51:00 - [8] ehem ogres do thermal, and although its not EM, sanshas arnt that resisted to thermal so the extra dmg ogres get (for being the gallente one) means they are prolly just as good as the correct preator drone.
BootStrap Aliastra	Posted - 2006.10.04 19:06:00 - [9] EM may be Sanshas lowest resist but the base damage mod of Praeter IIs is 1.38 whereas the base damage mod for Ogre IIs is 1.92, so Ogres will do more damage even though Sanshas have slightly higher thermal resists than EM resists.

If you can only use t1 heavy drones I'd say go with omnidirectional enhanced wardens with a set of curators as backup (just in case the rats optimal outside your garde's range (this should not happen)). Base Damage : Ogre II = 24 thermal : Praetor II = 24 EM Base Damage Modifier : Ogre II = 1.92 : Praetor II = 1.38 Rate of Fire : Ogre II = 2s : Praetor II = 2s so raw damage: Ogre II = (24 * 1.92)/2 = 23.04 Praetor II = (24 * 1.38)/2 = 16.56 So, based on the raw stats Ogre IIs dish out ~1.4 times the raw damage of Praeter IIs. CbA to factor in skills but since the same skills affect both in the same way Ogres will still beat Preators.
