I got dumpstered last night by a 'coalition-mate' who locked me down while his buddies (from a red corp) jumped in and stomped all over me. I'm happy to suck it up because 'eve', 'content' etc, I've never been AWOXed before so it's kinda cool to be able to add this to the list of stuff I;ve done/had happen in eve - but if losses like this tend to reimbursed by the corp the AWOXer infiltrated, then no reason not to raise it with them I guess?! From experience, generally speaking, unless you are in a crap Alliance or Coalition (although, you are in Intrepid Crossing... I think the joke will tell itself here), you will probably want to get in contact with your diplos, both to hopefully get reimbursed (its traditional for awoxers corps to pay up for losses or get kicked along with their bad member, after all it was their shoddy recruiters that let the bad apple in), and so that the rest of your alliance can be warned about the bad member and get him kicked before he racks up too many more of your compatriots. Entirely down to your organisation though.

Cheers in advance I got awoxxed once in Fountain. A blue bomber came in and pointed my Vindicator and his neutral buddies in bombers came in and killed me. It was my own damn fault, I had an alt in a Tengu hat I dula boxed for protection but I was using it to check the belts when I got pointed. I warped the tengu to the vindicator and killed a few bombers but the vindicator popped. At least they didn't get any loot, and I recovered all the good stuff off the Vindi (loot fairies be praised). I used it as a learning experience. ALWAYS fit to survive instead of max profit and if you have a 'suicide defender' alt that you rat with, don't send it to the mother F%^&*$ belts looking for officer spawns when it should be protecting you lol. (The above is what happens when you take responsibility for your failures instead of blaming CCP for letting it happen, because taking responsibly makes you get better at what you were doing so bad things happen less). Edit: I did get reimbursed by the alliance the awoxxer belonged to.

I nueted his ass, ECM droned him then MJD'd and got away. My loss was 5 ecm drones instead of 1 new Machariel. The rush I felt for surviving to isk another day is something I can still feel. sorry EVE isn't the thempark you;d like were CCP is trowing new 'content' at you every patch, but that's a 'you' problem not a 'them' problem.

Thanks for letting us know what we always suspected. Some people can apply common sense. Others require a sledge hammer between the eyes to get a point. Anyone with any sense has already left town.

For those of you are who interested, the corp that recruited the AWOXer were kicked from the renter alliance. I believe they've been set blue for the time being until their CEO gets online to sort out the situation. Apparently, they will be kicked permanently unless amends are made. Not the most engaging discussion to ever grace GD I'm sure, but I don't doubt that an account of how this situation played out for me will be of use to some people at some point, so mention-worthy for that reason alone!
