I've completed my Career Agents and was wondering if I missed something or does the game NOT tell you about "The Blood-Stained Stars?"

I do not believe it does. It is just highly recommended to do by most players. Personally I have not done it yet. Thinking about it though. |

Hmm, I was hinted about that when I finished all of the tutorials by a message from Aura (last screen) ... but it's 1.5 years back that I did the tutorials.

Game hints that you should go see the agent Sister Alitura in the last text screen of the career agents but doesn't make a big deal out of it. |

I bookmarked the sister from the exploration career. But she is very far from the Epic Arc Agent. |

If you mean far from the tutorial agents then yes you do have to travel to see her, the same is true of any agent on the game. The arc will send you to all four factions space, there's a fair bit of travelling involved.

I think that the SoE level 1 epic arc is good for new players that are looking for something to do. It takes you out into the universe and gets you running around. It gets you some isk and it teaches you somethings. Also helps you get rep with SoE which can come in handy down the road.
I'll link the epic arc page from eve-survival so that you can read up on it a bit http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=MissionReportsEpicArc |

Rulie Isoryn is in Airaken. You can add her coordinates from the explorer tutorial.
Sister Alitura is in Arnon. She gives you the Epic Arc.

Sister Alitura is located far from all Career Agents. All you need is your combat ship loaded with munitions and a salvager module, leave all your other stuff in station.
The game is based on a lot of traveling so best get use to that asap.

In the current New Player Experience when you start the long manufacturing job in the Industry career agent chain you get a tutorial pop-up called "While you wait." and the second window of this, called "No need to sit around!" and on this screen you're referred to Sister Alitura and her location.
I don't know if this pops-up when you complete any other career agent chains as this was the first chain I completed on a couple of recent alts.
You can find this out from access "Help" in game (F12) and the Tutorials tab and you'll find it under the "General" category of tutorials.

lol more like 50 missions though many of them are deliveries.
You make over 10 mill out of the arc which is enough to buy a cruiser by the end.
The travel is deliberate, the arc introduces you to all sorts of different faction space. You pretty much end up everywhere but Khanid. |

Who told you it can be done in 3 hours ?
17 missions per hour is 3.5 minutes per mission including travel.
Many of the mission can be accepted and completed remotely but that seems very unlikely even in an interceptor. |

I believe the "3 hours" reference comes from the fact of the career agent mission where you get the pop-up for Sister Alitura will take three hours, roughly, for the manufacturing job to be done so that mission can be completed. It wasn't a statement that the SoE Epic Arc could be done in 3 hours, just poking some fun at what's presented. At least that's how I take it.

Thank You for your time. I can't remember the name of the mission, it only has one weak NPC carrying a note to visit Sister Alitura. All I remember is that I kept getting the mission over and over and over and...
One day it just stopped.
Note that I never did the tutorial. It didn't exist when I started. That might be related to why I was getting the mission repeatedly. Or maybe just because I've not done a level 1 or 2 mission in a long time. |

I highly recommend to all new players that they do the majority of the SOE arc in a frigate. You will be warping from system to system A LOT and Destroyers and Cruisers warp speed is much slower than frigates so it will be a huge drag doing it in a slower ship.
All the missions are doable in a low skill frigate until the final 1 (second to last is a little difficult too but doable). A lot of people do the final mission in a cruiser but it is easily doable in a fairly low skill Destroyer if you fit it correctly.
If that fails and you are still having a hard time find someone else that needs to get it done and tackle it together. |

Good history read. So it seems CCP has tried both ways. First they directed new players and new players had a hard time.
Then they hinted at it. Players miss the hint. Players find out about the arc through other means. Then Players post on the forums asking why CCP never told them about it!
Is the "Humble Beginnings" mission still available? The links don't specify who gives the mission. |

I remember getting it myself in Amarr space, and I'm pretty sure an alt was getting it in Caldari space.
It was really annoying because only one mission can be declined every 4 hours, so I would just do it every time it popped-up.

Around 4 hours should be right, provided you use an Assault Frigate and blitz whereever possible.
A new player that kills everything, loots and salvages (and tries to follow the story) will take considerably longer.

Not to forget, while you are doing the scenic tour around the 4 factions, get a nice little bit of starting fund...in the mean time, you are training skills.

There are two other mission that can give new players trouble. One scrams you with frigates hard to hit with long range guns and the other one will neut. Three tricky missions out of 50 is not to bad really.
