hi all dont know if anyone else has this issue but it seems the launcher refuses to work for me .. it loads allows me to log in but thats it . it wont patch and keeps 'play' greyed out also when ive had enough of waiting when i click the x top right it will then crash and only a task manager close will get rid of it.
now i know the client works fine because ive been playing for last week by bypassing the launcher using the evefile.exe but now its patched with tiamut release and i cant find a manual patch page anymore im now either stuck untill its fixed or i can find a manual patch for it ..
anyone have a quick fix or solution for this please .. il be reinstalling windows in 3 weeks so just something to keep me goin till then would be great
cheers for any advice
ps. i have reinstalled eve from scratch to a diff location and turned of av but still get exactly same issue |

im having the exact same problem. tried clearing cache, downloaded the new launcher linked in the thread post. only difference is now it gets stuck at "initializing" |

Launcher not working at all, it just crashes. I have tired workarounds I could find, deleted cache, nothing works. Tried downloading the launcher again from the link posted by the CCP folks, but that won't download, it just sits at 0 to 3 kb/s and doesn't move.
Wish I could play EVE . Not happening. Really frustrated.
Hoping if we light up the boards they'll actually do something about it or give us an answer that helps. Posting a download link for the launcher that won't download is not an answer. |
