Hey folks;
We'll be gathering the folk who either weren't able to make it to Fanfest, or else haven't done enough damage to their livers, to have a London meet-up the evening of 28th March at 1800 local time! Cyrillian Voth has secured a table at Duke of York on Dering Street; if turn-out is strong, we'll see about getting a room or changing venue. Either way, pints and geekery will be had.
Address: 8 Dering Street, Mayfair, London (Bond Street tube)
Time: 1800 Saturday, 28th March
Considering this'll be my first time in England, it'd be great to meet some of the English crew!

Ive booked a holiday Inn lol. -ú80 for the night. Its costs about that to get home so meh.

Hey, guys. Family emergency, so I'm flying back to the States in the morning. On the other hand, this is picking steam up nicely so it looks like you guys have a proper meet-up going. :)

Sorry to lose you Makoto! We'll schedule the next one for when you're back in London. :-)
This is still most decidedly on, and we are in negotiations with Donkey Kong's agent. It looks like we have numbers somewhere in the teens, so The Duke of York have kindly (wisely?) let us have a room to ourselves.
We will be DOWNSTAIRS in the pub, in the basement - down the spiral staircase, you can't miss it. Follow the signs that say "reserved for private function" or whatever. It's pleasantly cosy down there, perfect for conversation and drinks, and unless PL drops supers, we'll have plenty of space.
I'll be there from around 18:00; feel free to rock up any time during the evening. We'll probably be nattering away until around closing time.
See you on Saturday - I can't wait! |

well I am in London as of Wednesday already visited the IWM, The London Museum and the Globe Theater, tomorrow I plan on checking out The Tower Bridge Exibits, The Tower of London and the Great Fire Monument, if have time after that ill go snap a few pics of the Big Ben Following that who knows. on Saturday before the meet I do not know, anyone local wanna hang show me s few cool sites? or if you wanna feel like a tourist in your city or watch one make a fool of himself? that can be arranged.
also I will be there for the meet, but if I miss the plane the following day I am blaming you guys. |

Thank you everyone for coming, and for a great evening! The choice of pub seems to have met with general approval, so let's stick with it next time. Wait, not sure I follow. Layover is between flights, so how could I do a layover in Iceland (the destination/origin), unless you mean a layover in London en route to Iceland, or a layover in London en route from Iceland to the US. |
