But having installed them does devalue them too, since they cannot be uninstalled and redeployed, so they're not worth their market price any more. Why don't you use the implants to your advantage and train the character in some serious specialist skills before selling him off? Just an idea.

Yes, he has great elarns, but its a waste to go Advanced 5, the time spent on that you could have made him a Freighter pilot, HAC pilot or something else and he would easily sell, but no one takes a learns maxed character too seriously unless he a week away from some elite piloting. At least thats what I've been seeing on sell orders for characters right now. I agree with your assesment on the value of his learns to adegree, but even if I bought him I'ld be looking @ over a month of training to get the ships I wanted from him. ****************** Some folks seem to think because you've got mining skills and can build ships you must be a pacifist. Some folks can be real naive.

Have you got +5's installed with max learning and a points emphasis on Perc and Will? If you did you would know that you can easily train 2 mill SP in core combat skills a month.

CrestoftheStars Deviance Inc SMASH Alliance	Posted - 2006.10.13 13:40:00 - [23] its implants... ffs.. they get detroyid easily, so unless he have jump clones, this char is useless as a pvp char...(unless your willing to risk 2bill on a low sp char) the 3bill is exstreme, you could get yourself a 20mill sp max learning skills buy yourself a +4 full implant (300mill or so) and learn almost as fast, you would ofcouse lose around 1mill sp every 2years but then again, what is 2 mill sp out of 50mill+ (wich is what you would have there) implants are almost worthless when selling a char, they arnt even half price.. soo yer.
