Edited by: ***lente Hunter on 07/10/2006 16:02:06 I am in need of a 0.0 NPC <Serpintis> Zealot setup that uses an MWD. The only other requirements are 4x heavy pulse, 1x heatsink II and a decent tank

Thanks for the help. Do you have a similar set up that can fit a plate? I assume not b/c of the PG problems with the MWD

Great setup. One thing I would change however, I'd switch that cap recharger for a 1 point scram. I know that you don't need a scram for ratting however I've found that with the nos cap is rarely an issue.
Plus you can pack a nasty surprise if someone tries to gank you. I've found it best to try to stick to a pvp setup whenever possible "just in case" . Although I'm not sure if it would fit because that mwd kind of limits the fitting, maybe try to fit that T-something named mwd?

Would losing the NOS and Cap Recharger and replacing with with a Medium Cap Booster with cap 800's be a better idea? One good example would be jumping into a camp. Your NOSed to hell so the cap recharger wouldnt help and you dont want to NOS cause it will agress you and when you reach the gate, youll be agressed. So if you your useing cap 800's, you get a full load of cap and you can keep your MWD, hardeners and rep on until you reach the gate.

Cap booster for PvE is a bad idea. I hate to be elitist but I would hold off on a 200mil uninsurable ship if you don't know stuff like this. - - - - - - - - - -

Zealot has a quite high base speed, you should be fine with an afterburner.
Especially when fighting npcs, it's important to have a high cap recharge to constantly run a repper + guns while in pvp it's alot about burst-dmg, burst-tanking, burst-cap-need. That's why people use Cap boosters in pvp since they provide alot of cap in short time with the backdraw of running out of cap boosters.

Actually its not such a terrible idea against serpentis as they keep dropping reloads for you. --- Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. - Emerson |

i think the op wants mwd so he doesnt die at the gates.
boosters and plates are always good, especially on npc setups. helps when you get jumped in belt.

If you get jumped you're doing something wrong.

Good point actually, I love getting jumped in belts actually lol. Its more fun than ratting. And I suppose if 1 med nos cant supply your tank and you start dying, well you must have done something wrong heh.
