I created my char a few days ago on one machine. Now i've installed EVE on a different machine, logged in and my char is no longer brown skinned, he's white.
Could anyone possibly enlighten me as to why and how I might go about rectifying this please? Thank you.

Eh....likey a difference in the grapics settings.

One of the machines likely has a crappy graphics card and/or crappy drivers.

you can request in a petition for this to be fixed btw. Get a confirmed not-crappy graphically-working-correctly PC first off to actually see what things are supposed to look like :P

I had a weird one like this, but it wasn't graphics drivers. For the first few months of Ombey's life, he was bald, I swear!! Then he got hair from nowhere. Most odd and somewhat distressing for him.

I don't know if this is related, but for about 2 weeks one of my alts I made had no body in my char selection screen. He was just a floating head. Which was cool in it's own rights

It's entirely possible the portrait generator thingy is messing with your MIIIIIIINDD

hahahahah ... lvl 2 is the nose job, lvl 3 is the nose job, lvl 4 is the nose job, lvl 5 allows you successfully reach a not guilty verdict after sleeping with children.

Can't believe someone beat me to the jacko joke!
Its probably as someone said the graphics card or drivers, my drivers messed up my retriever once and it was illuminous green! looked cool but then when I went and bought glow sticks I thought it must be getting to me so changed the drivers lol

OP: take a screen shot of your cariter ingame. on both PC if posabul. and post them up. it culd be a grafix card ishue. but then agen for it to chang it taht much you wuld have to see other coller changes in more than just your cariter
