"SPIEL '06" with "COMIC ACTION" will take place from October 19 to 22, 2006 at Messe Essen. It¦s one of the biggest international events for gamers.
Will EVE-CCG be available there?

Got the German part covered, there will be some of us there too. As for the rules, I'll have a nice read on all of them on my travel to Essen
Definitely looking forward to maybe having a round or two with you people and I am sure, additional help will always be appreciated.

Grrr... can¦t be there. And my business trip to essen is at the following week  , so i must order a friend, to take some Start- and Boosterpacks back to Hamburg.

Looking forward to this event a lot!
I'll be playing all weekend in preparation.

I'm missing Spiel for the first time in several years. Bummer :(
If you're new to the show let me give you a tip that the best place to eat close to the Messe is the Hausbrauerei about 3-4 blocks away. Really good food and beer.

How come everything died down here in the forum?
Essen was a huge success - CCP did have the best booth by far, and pretty much every table filled all the time. On top of that _every single_ player I asked about the game afterwards was enthused with the fresh approach to CCGs.
With us (already a sizable group of CCG gamers) near to Essen, this could become a good nucleus for an active and long-term player base (I built up one for the Warlord CCG for five years).
So, if your trial account ran out or you simply found this forum after trying the game in Essen - please come to www.cardmasters.de/forum to join other players (Alternatitavely there is the eve-ccg.de site, but I am having problems logging into there :( ).

I think it was a combination of lack of information (where are the opponents? When is the game coming out? etc) and people getting tired of resubscribing with trial accounts. I know I for one am getting quite sick of needing to actually go home, search the net for a trial code, and re-sign up for the MMO in order to post on the forums... HEY ARNAR! Get with the program and get the eve-Ccg forums running!
