With the up and coming battle about to occur in G-7WUF, it is going to need more juice. Alot more juice, or the same thing that happened yesterday will happen. 2 NODE crashes in like 15mins. That will be bad, for all involved.

I am sure all involved in the upcoming battle would like it to be lag free fleet engagement, and not see the node drop just as things are getting going.
This was just a friendly nudge to the GMs.

Alt Posting Grace Period Is Over
It is almost two months since we have introduced the no alt posting rule.
During this time we have not issued any forum warnings for people who broke this rule since we felt that a grace period was required for people to adjust to the new forum rule.
The grace period is now over and so any persistant alt posters will receive forum warnings and bans as normal.
It seems some people were confused over what we meant when we used the term 'alt character', I would like to clarify this;
The term alt for the purpose of these rules also includes anybody in an NPC corp.
This forum is for players involved in Corporations and Alliances, members of NPC corps may post in the Corporations and Alliances Summit, or in the Crime and Punishment forums.

The node didn't crash as much as curl up into a ball and cry.
It would be nice to get a non-emo node assigned to g7.

Well, there went the node. 373 people, some were engaged in attacking the out post, and crash. . Hopefully CCP will find a fix for this problem, so that fleet battles can happen without lag and node crashes. Now wouldn't that be cool!

No dude its pretty simple, don't blob with 373 and you won't have that problem.

Nope, would seem that there is either gross incompetence or an active attemp to crash the node, as local was at 372 upon node crash. You don't accidentally get almost 400 pilots in local, tbh.

Let me get this straight.
You guys go and attack an Outpost and POS's with no notice, then complain when the alliance and friends show up to help them out. Not the alliances fault servers cant handle it, maybe you guys should plan better.

No, took quite a bit of doing. Doesn't mean we were actively looking to crash the node; if that was the case we'd all be in bookmark-copying destroyers and frigates instead of battleships and assorted support.
It's not like we enjoy being thrown out of the game and having to wait fifteen minutes to get back into the system.

I had no idea how many and from which side these fleets would be on. I just knew from several different sources that something was going to happen in.
Big fleets don't need to be considered blobs. Sometimes it just ends up that way. Sometimes you don't know how many will be there until you show up.

Well, there went the node again. And there weren't as many people on as last time. Twice in less then 30 minutes. It's a wonder more POSs and Outposts are lost. |

Was quite entertaining last login.
Before Node crash I was in a deep Safe Space.
After Node crash Im 150km off a gate and a enemy fleet.

Okay, so now we have had node crash number 3, opps, maybe an EVE crash this time. But at least there was a GM in system this time. |

We are not complaining the outnumbering, we are complaining their whining for the node not able to hold up. Everyone is free to field whatever he feels is needed to obtain the goal read 25 dreads vs POS or 400 pilots vs 42.

IF were opposite parts you'd have whined that we crash nodes on purpose, but no evidence on that. OH BTW goons tactic (oublobbing and node overload) are not very well seen from ccp aswell.
so FACT nodes can't hold that, you need to review your tactic.
