Can I now from where you are? Maybe it's a problem from our ISP... (I'm French and my ISP is Free)

I've had this in the past. 1 thing to suggest is to make sure you have a good connection to the internet [on dialup it can take ages if windows is trying to downlaod widows updates at the same time] if this is after a DT - then accuiring Bulk data seems to take longer than during the same DT - it may be a cache issue. give it 5 mins and then try a relog. -- BIG Lottery, BIG Deal | RaTTuS @ Skills Showroom

For me it don't seems to be that: when Eve Client say "Acquiring bulk data" there is no network traffic....and I wait for almost 30minutes

Yep it works, but in my PC and laptop this only started happening after the latest patch. It could be my ISP fault of course, and maybe that's why I'm having more lag since the latest patch (8Mb Cable), but damn... since the day 1 of the latest patch. Coincidence?
Well, I will test it on a 16Mb ADSL connection from another provider (and backbone) near the end of this month... let's see what happens.
And the 5m *trick* works everytime (at least in my PC and Laptop). ---------------------------------------- Hadean Drive Yards |

hi everybody! I've got a solution to the prob.: Rename the EVE/CACHE folder to CACHE1. Then log back in and check if the problem persists. All your settings will be saved in the CACHE1 folder in case you need to access them again for bookmark folders and so on. (This was provided by a GM). After that copy the old settings folder files - exept the following files: char, pc, user - into the new cache/settings folder in order to have back your bookmarks. it should work!

For me that's not the problem, it seems that my ISP is using a QoS and I can't use the port 26000 in the day(it's ok late in the night or in the morning). Is there another port that can be used to connect to Eve?
