I've been doing some research now that I've the ability to build in HS space, only to find out that apparently there is no benefit to doing so.
Can I make ISK with a POS in HS space or is it just a waste of money?
Please, your thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

From what i have seen/read the main reason for a high sec POS is for a relatively secure research/manufacturing facility.
So if you are into Science/Industry it would be useful. No queue times. Faster research. And since capital ships cant get into high sec, it would be a lot harder for someone to take out the POS.

We started a high sec pos purely for research slots. Though we did pick a moon that has good minerals in the event that they let us moon mine in high sec.
A while back you couldnt even scan moons in high sec but now you can. This change makes me wonder if moon mining, most likely at a reduced rate from low sec mining, is going to become an option for high sec pos.

Your corporation needs to have a standing to the sovereign faction of 10x the system security ie for a 0.5 system, you need a 5.0 standing, 0.6 system needs a 6.0 standing.
Also need an extra fuel item - Charters, for the sovereign faction (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente or Minmatar)

Your standing helps improve your corp's standing. Other than that, no.

correct, it is your corporation who needs 10x faction standing, since the POS can only be launched for CORP and not for you as an individual.
