I have been trying to cancel my Eve account (due to financial issues alone) for the past couple weeks, but cannot seem to find the option.
Doing exactly as I am directed to, I click the Account Management tab, and then click the "Modify Exsisting Account" option. I then proceed to log in. Here is where the account status and cancellation option should be, but all I get is the "Account Information". There are no other available options besides "Change Password" and "Edit Account Info", which edits the account holder's name, email address, etc.

go to www.eve-online.com through your web browser.
click on "account management"
click on "modify existing account"
you will be prompted to enter your user name and password.
log into the eve website.
select "subscription info" tab.
click on "cancel subscription"
Your account status will change from active billing to be set to deactivate once your current subscription period is over.

Yeah, I know that's what I'm supposed to do, but there is no "Subscription Info" tab. There is only the "Account Information" tab. The other tabs simply aren't there!

They are there for me. Wasnt there an issue some time ago where this happend for a few players?

This has happened before? Well here's what it looks like. The other tabs simply aren't there. I took a screenshot, and of course edited out the info.

I had the same prob as u. but for some reason once my original sub that i paid for ran out, it then fixed itself.
U could always max out ur credit card.
