It would have been better if ascn jumped in on our camp(like we have countless times to them) but they didnt so... there we go.

nice quality. but isnt the 168-0 killratio just because of lag? i mean are ascn fc really that incompetent? i see them decloak on theire own and get picked off like headless chickens.gimme the truth bob dudes  (if your able to)

The video itself had some really nice editing techniques and was well put together, the opening soundtrack was excellent with the Heartbeat of Japan.
Sadly when the PvP started the only thing that held it together for me was the editing.
Shooting POS and gate camping with 100 people killing battleships as they trickle through a gate at snails pace isn't my idea of a fun time, and doesn't really hold up in a drawn out video.
None the less, great editing, and some nice effects and soundtrack used.
The only real criticism I have would be to use another font instead of the standard black on white generic thing.

it was cool and all but the one this i realy didnt like was when the battle actualy started you just zoomed into the ships and pods goin boom other then a scorp i think there wasnt any target being shown and personaly i dont like that

The end results were for the day, not just the fight.. but the end battle really summed up the ASCN invasion(for me anyway;) )
I wanted to make a story based video as my last one was a total gank fest(life in blob) Its just unfortunate that ASCN didnt bring it tbh, would have made much better viewing :)
Hopefully, this will be a long long war. So im sure more Movies will come with better "battles".

If you notice a lot of the booms he still had a locking timer on the target before it died.
I agree that there isn't as much action as other videos, but the editing part (what gonad had control over) is fantastic. Plus the ending is priceless.

Excellent vid. Best intro I've ever seen in an eve vid. The intro would look well as an official eve advertising video. 2nd half after the node crash wasn't quite as good.

I dont know what everyone is raving about. Most of this video is sub-par. Quality is good, but the intro is much too long, the POS fight is boring, I dont know why I spent so long staring at a torp hitting an offlined POS.
The music is annoying and the weird attempted tie in with LOTR makes no sense.
The worst part is it shows so little of the actual fighting. Just a couple of battleships coming through one by one, decloaking 1 by one, and sometimes the camera stays on the same shot long enough to see one of them pop.
TBH this is a video of a 150 versus 10 fight, and the 10 ASCN ships shown arent even organized.
Wheres the fleet fight? Wheres the cream filling? WHY AM I SO ANNOYED BY THIS MUSIC??
If I want good fleet fights ill go back to watching the RAT vs ASCN videos.

The editting was decent of course, but not good enough to make up for the total lack of anything interesting actually happening. I don't want to sound too harsh, but it just struck me as a lot of glam with no substance.

Fleet battles are boring enough to watch without having you cut the screen up and zoom in so much that my eyes began to burn  . But again, VERY NICE editing, especially at the end showing the overview empty, that was a nice touch.
It was very good video in the display of your skills, but for next time spice it up a bit.

Really, good editing skills. However, I wish you had something to work with. Props for the first video in this war. Sadly, there isn't much content to watch(other than the insta popping...sheesh that was fast), though I expect those editing skills to be used for future battles.

Just for the record... in that battle where ASCN is appearing 1by1, they were pushed through the goddamned lag portal, known as gate.
Ending is uber.
Fight was poor but it's not moviemaker's fault and maybe you can ask ccp to put server into siege mode.

I enjoyed this, you guys clearly have the capability to great produtions.
Here is an idea...
Get footage of numerous fights, have multiple people grabbing footage over a two week timeframe and then edit it all at once in a docu-war type format. Ten you would have some tremendous footage to make an action packed movie. Also, tell the story of a two week period, maybe with some voice overs with the propoganda taking place etc.

I gotta say I really enjoyed the video. The choice of the Terminator intro music was superb. It looked to be a turkey shoot thats for sure. And like the previous guys said, great editing. But was hoping for a little more action though.

LOL, it made me happy to watch that. Not cause it was funny, not cause it was so brilliant and cunning plan and ... well noting but the editing was nice.
What made me happy tough was that it reminded me how lucky I am not to be part of BOB or ASCN or any of theese gank or nothing alliances. Shoting a offline POS and ganking ppl that come trough gate (although it seemed many actualy got away!) is definatly not good TV!
