So my current setup: High: x4 Small Neutron II x1 Med NOS
Med: MWD, Web, Scram
low: small armor rep x3 active hardners 1600mm plate
I have been having a lot of problems with ECMS, any ideas what to drop?

try using some ECM drones to deal with jammers ... so youll probably need to move to med guns to get some extra dps. Try this :
5*Electron blaster IIs
MWD web scam
SAR II, EAN, DCU, 1600mm plate, RCU II
5*Med ECM drones

Ok well you could play at their game and fit a ecm multi instead of your webber? I'm thinking you have the speed to keep up 1000m/s odd so you should keep them in range.
Problem is with current ecm's its so unbalanced you could play with the idea of making your targeting stronger but you still run the chance of being jammed.

Dropping the webber is out of question. He might have enought speed to keep up with most targets, but he won't be able to keep his target around optimal because his agility is rubbish, not to mention that his target might have a webber.
Your best bet would be ECCM and better drones and droneskills, but thats only going to help you slightly against a heavy ECM ship.

How about jumping in the vexor and taking advantage of the extra drones?
Then fit a ecm/scram and have a webber drone and some T2 drones??
By all means not saying this is the answer just throwing some ideas in the air

hmmm, so maybe an eccm, but what gets dropped for it and how good are ECM drones?

Webber drone. Replace the web unit.

That's an option, but you are trading a whole lot of damage for one webber drone. Webber drones are only heavy drones, so 25m3 of space for only 30% webbing. Putting two of them in your drone bay gives you 60% webbing (or whatever if there is a stacking penalty), but you lose a large portion of the damage. Plus if you are using small guns on a Thorax, you will sorely need that extra damage. You won't be taking down anything bigger than a frigate with just 5 small guns and two webber drones. That 1600 plate just makes you last a bit longer.
Use medium blasters on the Thorax. That's what its bonus is for. Use 5 Medium drones in your drone bay. Put the webber in your midslot, along with an MWD, for which the Thorax gets a bonus.
As further evidence of the necessity of Medium guns on a 'rax, I just recently killed (very easily) a 'rax with T2 small guns, like you want to equip, with a Blaster Moa. Yes, a Moa. And that was only because I hadn't yet gotten all the mods for my Thorax just yet. He didn't have a chance.

Best pvp fitting imho :
5x Light Neutron II with void
mwd, web, scram
med rep, 1600 plate, 3 MFS II
with good skills you get around 300 dps from guns only ! Managed to kill arbitrator within 5 volleys And don't forget t2 med drones potencial

not sure how it would work against:
4x Heavy ion blaster II 1x Heavy electron Blaster II
mwd, web, scram
1x MAR II 2x EAN II or 1x EAN II, 1x Active explosive II / EEM II 1x DMG ctrl 1x Mag stab II
5x hammerhead IIs
It is more agile, has better range and with null loaded, the small gun thorax can only eject, tbh...
but hey, small gun thorax IS indeed used widely - pity, really :/
in the above setup I managed to break a fully t2 fitted Zealot while under fire from him and another zealot (2nd zealot warped in when his buddy was in low armour) and I had only a minnie inty and a t1 frig support with no ECM/tracking 'ruptors. I subsequently died to that second zealot and his other mate in an ishtar :) OFC, trick was to actually offline the MWD - othewise I wouldn't tank long enough to kill the first one ;-)

Thorax only has 3 mids, and it NEEDS a mwd, web, and scram to be effective. So unless you have a gangmate doing the scrambling, I'd suggest trying a Vexor since drones will continue doing damage even when you're jammed.
Otherwise if you do have a gangmate doing scrambling, fit an eccm or a jammer of your own.
