We are a tight-knit group of members that have lofty goals and enjoy working together toward a common purpose. We engage in PVP activity almost every day and also have room for industrial types as well, but keep in mind you must be able to fight before anything else. We are all about protecting the assets of MBYTE and having a strong, organized fleet ensures this ideal. We are a 0.0 based corporation with access to the best PvP and rocks in the galaxy. We've been around almost a year now and our leadership is strong and active. As stated above, we need dedicated pilots that can fight, but we are also looking to expand our industrial base with capable miners/producers. We fuel our war machine internally with no SOS calls to the alliance for assistance. We have an active internal market base to supply all members with needed materials and ships. For those of you looking for a solid advancement system within a corporation, look no further. We have a point system based on the EQDKP software and modified for our purposes that allows members to gain rank and privilege through active participation in corporate operations. Each rank gained allows expanded corp hangar access, heftier discounts on corporate ships, and the ability to lead fleet operations. Members are free to indulge in PvP or industrial operations as we have separate points tracked for each side. You can also rank up on the indy side through mining, logistics, and production/sales. Each industrial rank gives you bonus pay every 2-week pay cycle! We have a special interest in increasing our Euro player base so please let us know when you apply if you are in one of these time zones! Great bunch of fellas to hang out with and drink with :). It's not like a typical corp where your words go unheeded, upper management really listens to what you have to say. There is also a system in place to allow advancement in ranks within the corp along with member bonuses such as ship discounts. Only fun things happen here, at least in my experience

I left MBYTES for a time but as you can see, I'm back. I just didn't like being in another corp, these guys rock and we watch out for each other all the time. However my account name seems to be stuck on my lemming alt......attempting to fix that now.

Especially Goal #1 and #2.. To answer your first question: ISK for awards and medals comes out of the Corp's wallet. Our various programs and 10% tax help fund the Corp wallet. For your second question, we are active in a 0.0, both on the industrial side and ratting. PvP is our primary focus, but we have several projects working to grow the wallets and experience levels of our members and the Corp as a whole. The same applies for #2, with multiple pilots working on capital ships and the corp working towards acquiring said ships. Gromik Internal Affairs Mining Bytes, Inc.

Especially Goal #1 and #2.. Thanks! To answer your question about mining and indy work, we do not force you to work the fields or build stuff 24/7 for the corp. A handful of members take care of build request, and anyone is open to mine even the pvpers. The isk reward for mining is normaly enough to get people out mining. I personaly hate ratting, even in 0.0, but i would rather get my hands a little dirty mining for a few hours while drinking a few beers shooting the **** with the guys over Teamspeak than grinding away for hours on end to make isk. But thats just me, some of our PvPers don't even know what a Strip Miner II is. So its all about what you want to do with your free time in eve. As far as a clear objective and a plan of action to attain those goals, we are very focused and are well on our way to reaching those goals. Any pilot in eve can tell you how ruthless a mistress Eve can be, and details of said goals are not made know to the public for security reasons. We do everything we can to promote a fun positive environment to play in. After all we don't pay $$ every month to sit around and not have any fun.

I've found that most members like the point system and it's proved to be a great motivational tool. The benefits are worthwhile and it even provides for a little competition between members. For our current goals, we have a set budget and timeline for accomplishing these goals that is not public knowledge. I can tell you that it is administered through a corporate quota system that allows us to gauge at what point in time the corp will have reached a monetary goal in order to make that goal a reality. Quotas are currently set every 2 weeks and are generally easy to break, allowing members who earn lots of Industrial Points (IP) the opportunity to make a lot of ISK. When you're kicking back training skills, it's kinda nice to be able to relax in some roid field and shoot it with the guys on TS. Maybe it's because of all the PvP and mining being a change of pace, but the time you can relax like that are always fun and entertaining.

Now I'm back with these guys doing what I want. The corp is very organized and almost always has an experienced player online or at least someone with basic know how to answer any questions you may have. I think we have had other interests some that have not posted here.... at least check out the site, honestly what do you have to lose except maybe an hour of time reading our posts?

These guys are the reason I still play EVE; without them I would have lost interest in the game long ago. This is an outstanding corp, taking individual needs into consideration but never at expense to the corp as a whole. We have experienced PvPers, pirates, and indy folk, though our ranks range from those new to the 0.0 space experience to those who haven't seen 0.5+ space with any regularity in eons. As Califax wrote, we're venturing into new digs, shedding our former life to engage new targets...er...goals. This opportunity will provide exciting experiences for our veterans and new recruits alike. I look forward to my next year flying alongside these guys, and look forward to meeting our new recruits.

Last night, word was put out along alliance channels that an enemy gang was approaching our home system. Within 5 minutes a sizeable defense fleet was mustered and we not only fought off the enemies, we chased them back down into their hole from whence they came. What I have to offer... 6+ million skill points Strong understanding/ability in mining and refining I own my own Hulk decked out with T2 goodies Good understanding/ability in salvaging What I don't know... PvP Much other than mining or salvaging What I'd like... Part of being in MBYTE and the FREGE alliance is working together. In that spirit, when one of FREGE's friends in a nearby sector required assistance FREGE answered and alot of us in MBYTE were a part of this response. While we managed to render the assistance needed by our neighbors, an enemy element was able to sneak in and destroy some ships in our region. This is to be expected in the hostile regions of 0.0 space. You cannot win them all. In the FREGE alliance the ultimate goal is to have fun first and work together to build a strong alliance. This philosophy parallels that in MBYTE as well, to have fun first and to work together to be a strong team. We have pirates(Yarr!!). We have carebears. We have something in between. We acquired some newer members who weren't that familiar with PvP and needed a fun corp-focused outing. So we gathered up some frigs, destroyers, and a couple of interceptors and headed out to suicide ourselves and see what kind of juicy targets we could catch before popping. End result- we got chased by an Eos, Huginn, Megathron, Ishtar, a few Ravens, and a Heretic for awhile. We moved quickly and engaged the Eos while he was alone, but he jumped out before we could break his tank (he was testing our damage). Moving a system or two, we setup on a gate, ready for some laughs and carnage. The Eos and a friend show up, with the Eos uncloaking first. We pew-pew him, losing a could of small ships to T2 drones when his friend the Huginn shows up. We smell blood and refocus! Boom! Down goes the Huginn and the remains of our lolerfest warp out as the big-gunned baddies (mega and ishtar) join the fray. Good times were had by all, with minimal losses in exchange for a fun time.
