CCP, Stability?

Dolas Eye of God Axiom Empire	Posted - 2006.10.11 14:05:00 - [1] Dear CCP, The current state of the game is currently unacceptable. First of all I love this game just as many others but I am growing severely disappointed in its playability. This game is heavily focused on pvp and after over 3 years you still can not have a proper fleet battle. Just a fleet battle of 100 vs 100 crashes the node which happend just last night. All the talking and hardware upgrades over the years and absolutely nothing is different except that you can actually fly around Jita with 400 people in system but this is hardly a ground breaking accomplishment when it does not translate into the rest of the gameplay. Every coming upgrade there have been promises of reduced lag and fixes to allow fleet battles and still, it it no different if not worse than before. At least before you could actually have a fight but with severe lag. Now it may be slightly less laggy but the node crashes everytime, hardly a tradeup. I know recently you have been trying to do stress tests on the test server to help find out whats wrong but I strongly stress that you need to address this first and foremost with all your resources. There are battles fought everyday on the live server and nodes crashing constantly, try looking at those please. People like new content and all but if you can't use it then whats the point? 100% of your focus should be on stability and SOLVE it before putting out more content. Fancy new gadgets are cool and all but a large portion of your player base just wants to simply have a good fight and just being able to do so without crazy lag or crashes. This alone would lift peoples spirits more than new content and probably draw a lot old players back to EVE in the process increasing your revenue. Some people may agree and some may flame. This isn't a whining post and I still love the game but I beg you to please address this soon. Thanks, Dolas

Not to mention having the opposite yesterday, the I want content not bugfixes thread. I'm all for discussion, but I reckon that CCP know EvE isn't performing well. As we all know, all Devs are in BoB , so they should have first-hand experience of node crashes. I know I'll get flamed for whining about whining, but why can't we go back to the good old days of complaining about nerfs? Edit: Missing words make no sense.

Edit: Missing words make no sense. the recent tests on erm.. the test server prove that CCP know about the issues and are trying to correct them.. Remember... most of the devs and CCP people play eve in their spare time, and some will be in alliances who partake in large fleet battles...
