All of my EONs have been folded. My CCG sets were also quite brutalized.
Kinda sad that they don't care enough to package it properly.

my magazines have never been folded (lucky ol' me) but i do find it frustrating (and a little bit crazy) that they've folded both of the very pretty posters that they send out with the magazines - i realise that the only viable alternative would be to roll them and ship them in a tube (which would be hard to do with the magazine, unless they packaged it all together) but still, it's kind of weird getting these GORGEOUS posters that then have horrible creases through them

Or you can do what i will be doing soon, DL the hi-res file of the Iron Tide pic and print it out on a wide-format digital printer and make it about 6ft across and suitable for a wall decoration.
What i really need is the uncompressed image file and then i can make it 12ft long and cover a whole wall in EVE goodness

What level do my ironing skills have to be at, and how long do they take to train? Where can I get them? My local War Academy doesn't seem to have it for sale, and I'm getting frustrated!

awww :( Well... just print it out yourself... this way you can dictate size too :)
For example, i have both of the ship charts printed out, both pre-RMR and post-RMR ones... :) The post-RMR one is 1m by 1m (It's square! i never noticed that till i had it printed), and the pre-RMR one is slighly smaller. Sig pic too old... and lost the template during reformatting (doh!)
Goal: To blaster-fit every Caldari ship that has a turret slot.

You'll need Ironing Lvl 5 to be honest, you can never bee too careful with them, liable to roast your fingers if you're not careful.
To be honest, its far easier to contract out the work, for example to the characters; Girlfriend, FianceT, Wife, or Mum. They are usually quite sufficienty skilled when it come to using the iron, and generally get the job done efficently.
A word of warning though, both Girlfriend and FianceT are known to charge heavily for this service, while Wife chages less, and Mum rarely charges at all. Try to find out the charge before you ask them to proceed, lest you get a shocking bill at a later date.

Thank you for the advice. Sadly, however, Girlfriend's Ironing skill is actually in the negatives. And Mum (or Mom, here in the States) is a goodly distance away. Sigh.
