Has anyone done the Celestial Imperative missions? #4 of 5 I have to find survelliance data at a mining colony. I cannot find this thing. I have blown up the colony and have searched around it. Can anyone help?

I'm having problems too. I'm on #4 right now. I've got the first disc from the dented cask, the second from the unfinished colony or whatever, but can't find the important surveillance data in the last area. I've killed all the enemy ships and destroyed half the large buildings but nothing.

Hello !
On step 4 /5 in this mission agent give bookmark for deadspace, this deadspace have 5 or more lvl. On last lvl deadspace you can find agent in ship - speak with him.
This guy give you another 2 step mission, last 2/2 mission from them give you rewrad - important survilance date chip what you need to finish 4/5 stap in celestial.

Thanks for the reply guys. IT seems my mission might be different than yours. For one I was never given a bookmark, in fact I was told specifically by my agent that were not giving me one because the colony was so easy to find (which it was). I was told only to find surveillance data adn nothing else. So I don't know about the "dented casket". Am I to assume more than what was stated in the journal? It did say in the bottom that I was to go to the mining colony and find the way to kikko.

What moon are you talking about? My mission said to go to the mining colony, so that's where I jumped to from on my map. Then I proceeded on through the acceleration gate there to the other stages. You're saying I need to go to the deadspace area?

I have never seen Kikko nor the important surveilance data despite numerous tries. I'm able to kill all the rats in all three levels.
At least it's nice knowing my Kestrel can take out cruisers!

My problem is that I need some sort of pass to be able to actually warp through the second acceleration gate :/

I've suffered this mission a lot until I finally find Kikko. Just to prevent the rest of you to get as much stuck as I got, here's the solution: if you're searching Kikko at a 3 levels deadspace, YOU'RE AT THE WRONG PLACE guys. That's not the correct deadspace complex. Instead, go to Autama VII - Moon 1 MANUALLY (via right-clicking when outside station, planets -> Autama VII -> Moons -> Moon 1). There you will find a stargate that drives you to a very easy complex (I think it was designed to be hit with rokkie ship). At the last level (5th or 6h) there will be Kikko, represented as a big white cross. Talk to him and you'll get another mission, wich reward will be... guess it? Yes, the so-much-searched- "Important Surveillance Data".
Just hope it helps.

Hi, could u guy help me out, I am stuck, I got the mission from Kikko, killed Havatiah Kiin, got the Ships database, no wwhen I get back to Kikki and say I got th item, response is I didnt complete something and check the journal. Any ideas? Thanks

i'm totally stuck here. I completed part 4/5 of the other mission after "encounter" and i keep getting the "please return Database info to Kikko's ship" message. There are no surviving units in the mission. Maybe a programming fault?

There is a spawn container near Kikko in which the item appears every few minutes (or its it hours? lol). Along with the item appear a few NPCs that have to be killed before the item can be taken out of the container. Seeing how when I did it Kikko was camped by 5+ others doing that mission, you just have to try to be the first to grab that item once the last NPC dies. (I did it by grabbing the item and hovering it over my cargohold, and releasing the button the moment someone else popped the last NPC).
It is a bit stupid to put an item open for all into a n00b mission, and a Caldari one at that, but I guess it does teach the n00bs the greatness of plexes

ok i'm having a great deal of "fun" with this mission too..
i'm using a gallente char to do it..
i got to kikko fine, but looted his can before i talked to him!!!
then i DID talk to him and seemed to get a mission that mentioned the stuff in the can.... maybe i missed something here, but he wont give me any more missions.. nothing..
i'm now assuming either takin the stuff in the can first is a no-no or that he just wont talk to gallente :\

Ok, step 4/5 Go to the moon but don't do it by right clicking open space, do it by the left facing arrow in the top left corner of your screen. And select the moon from there, I didnt have the option when I right clicked in space.

This mission is pretty terrible. You can't use a destroyer on it yet you can use a rookie ship/assault ship/pretty much any other ship. I can't find the Kikko or the surveilance data and everything has been dead for an hour killed even before I arrived and hasn't respawned.
I hope this isn't an example of what missions are like in eve later in the game because this is not fun at all.

I had no problems doing the above mentioned mission, but what am I supposed to do with the "Important Surveillance Data" I am given as part of my reward at the end? Of what use is it? Thanks.
