Huh ... and the ingredients are a closely guarded secret. 'Green'-lighted. Delicious and cheap and easy to make.
I wonder if we'll hear about the Gallente mysteriously solving homeless problems in their more populous cities on the heels of this report.

Yes, now try to tell us that you Amarrians are really nice folk who only want to enlighten the Minmatar masses with your scriptures.
The dehumanizing practice of slavery and your arrogance is the only factors in such a blatently disgusting display.

No he won't. If there was a way to scoop escape pods into your cargo bay, he might. He will either escape, or reanimate in a clone somewhere out of your grasp.
You will never catch him and string him up, or enslave him, and neither will anyone else.
A shame, really. A few months in a detention centre, followed by a lifetime of neurotoxins and vitoc dependance enforced servitude might teach him some respect for his betters.

Edited by: Barosso Wolckenhauer on 31/10/2003 08:45:32 Regarding recent news I think we can be certain its not reproduced Minmatar slaves (I hope). But the Amarrians might just be whining about their food exports to cover up their deals with the caldari. Anyhow I am convinced that just like quafe these delicacys come out of the behind of a giant worm. Thats two different worms mind you.

I think most of you missed the point.
The reason this news is interesting is because the most ruthless of the big Caldari corporations, who run the state, is dealing with the Gallente.
The Sukuuvestaa *always* have ulterior motives. They are the sort that would try to get the Gallente addicted to a source of food only they can provide (vitoc, anyone?), or perhaps to sell out Caldari trade secrets using the legitimate food industry as a cover.
If they rise more in power in the Caldari government, it *will* be felt in the way that Caldari behave towards the other empires. Now, think of that in the context of an Amarr/Minmatar war... ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

Quite the opposite. The Gallente government needs more funding for their schools, which is why they are looking for a cheap way to feed the kids.
Step forward, Sukuuvestaa corporation.
As for Minmatar/Caldari relations...
...they are quite good, and I'm sure most of the other eight big corporations that run the state (they are Kaalakiota, Sukuuvestaa, Nugoeihuvi, Ishukone, Wiyrkomi, Hyasyoda, CBD and Lai Dai) would rather stay neutral than to support one warring side.
The Ishukone would probably try to negotiate a peace, even, or possibly side with the underdog. ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

Miss, Starsi is not even in production and you yourself said that it will not be sold in Gallente space to begin with. Quafe is the Gallente drink of choice and will continue to be for a long time to come. Starsi just does not match up. As for this protein delicacy hoopla...once our Gallente government started feeding this crap to our children, I knew something was up. I agree that there must be some ulterior motive for Suukuvestaa. I can't quite place my finger on what it is, but I don't think Scope would make quite so big a deal out of a new food product id something wasn't up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Edited by: Ian Wagner on 31/10/2003 22:32:26 Oh, I don't think we'll have long to wait on the consequences of using Protein Delicacies in Federation schools as opposed to the established benefits of organic Amarrian agricultural imports.
This product was certified after testing with adults, thus avoiding seeing it's short and long term effects on the much more dynamic, and shall we say mallable, physiologies of children.
I was half expecting it to cause sterility when introduced to a childs metabolism, a subtle change that would not be detected until birthrates began to drop in a decade or so, then the Caldari State could merely wait for the ebb in military service age Gallente's to press militarily. A bold move by one of the "big 8" corporations, usually a gambit of such risk would be made by a disposable dummy corporation.
The effects are apparently much more immediate, if the sudden spike in disciplinary troubles in Gallente schools are any indication. A pity the Federation wished to save a few ISK at the expense of its children...

No my dear Caldari, it is quite easy to blame your corrupt corporations for the recent problems with our children. It was only after your new food product was introduced to our fine Federation that things began to happen. Just wait. I can already see far more problems arising here as this food is consumed by more and more of my people. It should be banned the way I see it and as much as I hate to say it...we should resume purchasing organic food from Ammar as it is much safer with no side effects. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Interesting. How do you plan to accomplish this feat, Lord Panther?
Have you some new form of technology that allows you to capture pilots and hold them captive?
Why make such threats, when all we can really do is get very angry at them, and perhaps blow them up and force them to clone?
You cannot capture and enslave starship pilots. Oracle know this.

Now suddenly within four weeks Gallente parents don't know what they're doing? Maybe you should take time to review your argument Caldari. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Of course something is up, the bank accounts of those Gallente politicians who agreed to this deal.
Although I care little for what happens to the unlightened members of your hedonist race, even I must object when children are being hurt like this.
If they were past the age of reason and had rejected the true faith of Amarr that would be one thing, but it appears that all your children are affected.
Perhaps the Gallente race, which is known for the same-sex preference of its men and therefore does not have many children to begin with, wishes to commit community suicide.

Ah, the latest news report is the proverbial smoking projectile weapon. Thes "protein delicacies" are not being used anywhere in the Caldari State. If it were truely such a wonder product with no adverse effects, would they not be rushing to use it themselves and save on food costs?
Apparently, the Gallente are waiting for their children to sprout extra limbs before they will acknowledge they have made a monumental error.
It saddens me, though, that children were targeted. The harming of innocents is abhorent to anyone who follows the Scriptures.

look folks, i'm sorry, but really, the fact that there was NO DOMESTIC DEMAND for this stuff and it was 100% EXPORTED TO GALLENTE SPACE, not offered to the Amarr (credible, their real food IS better you know) or to Minmatar (ironically our food production is similar to the Amarr's, our culture being of tribal / agrarian origin)...
well, it shoulda sorta tipped someone off, dontcha think?
My Gallente friends, your security and safety officials are corrupt or terminally incompetent. Or both. There's really no one else to blame, as whatever misguided Caldari souls chose to pursue this could not have succeeded without the laxity of said agencies.

I had a good, but short, laugh hearing the tale, since the Federation seems curiously eager to give credit to theses allegations.
Sukuuvestaa has done an error, yes, by dealing ingenuously at such a large scale with the treacherous Gallentes, and surprise ! They were cheated.
Now they will have to behave with suspicious accusations, and i already foresee the actual Federation government declaring them responsible to anything going wrong with their politics, even the catastrophic mediocrity of their educational system.
How ironic, the spy belongs to Quafe Company, producers of the most suspicious beverage ever, who always has evaded every request about its toxicity and its various negative effects.
Well, now all is in the hand of the lawyers, and until a sentence is given, no one is guilty.

It would seem to be thge ultimate solution to the waste disposal problem. I can see the slogan now;
