They obtain wealth ingame by out of game means. I wll not use my credit card to buy ISK (through GTC) but it just plain sucks. Here comes Joe SHmo, with the credit card and outbids you and **** because he has bought a ton of GTC and made easy ISK. /rant Scenario: Joe Shmo plays eve for 2 months, gets to know thge game and decides he wants more. Buys GTCs. Goes to the Sell forum. Sells GTCs, makes bills of ISK. Still on the sells forum...... Makes bid for BPOs, cool ships, many SP char. Comes ingame........ Whats honest in this? Whats fair in this? One thing is true, EvE, like real life, is not fair. MAKES ME WANT TO GO BACK THE PIRATEY WAY !!!!!!!!!!!! Would you like it if you got AS A PRESENT from CCP a "copy" of ANY account existing on the server, ANY ship you wanted (titan included) and a few hundred billion ISK to spend ? No, really, think about it... WOULD YOU ? I certainly wouldn't. It would bore me to death and I'd probably just quit EVE soon after. So let those who buy ISK buy it, it's THEIR problem, they're ruining their own fun. __ Always question everything. Including yourself.

New players buying ISK, through whatever means, simply buy stuff they can't handle and then get pwned. Good for him, good for the economy. The problem is in corps/alliances using the ISK to sustain a war they would otherwise have lost because of less attention spend on the economic side of corps-life. But if that's how CCP wants their game to be played, so be it. Suck it up and keep pwning ...

True, they have to work harder for the same $, but they are still here and will not go away. MAKES ME WANT TO GO BACK THE PIRATEY WAY !!!!!!!!!!!! well i love GTC, i can't use a credit card, because i don't own one. why? because i don't want something that is, quite frankly, such an easy way to get into debt. however, I buy my GTCs from the websites on the official suppliers list found on this website, and not from another player - as i believe that someone converting cash into in-game progress directly is simply wrong. the GTC sellers in game are buying ISK as surely as they would if they contacted one of the chinese sweat-shops who opperate in this (and more or less every) MMO. ========================================== Iy

Ishquar Teh'Sainte Euphoria Released Euphoria Unleashed	Posted - 2006.10.12 11:08:00 - [16] only a short example ... today in jita an GTC seller was promoting his GTCs. he was selling 19 30day GTCs for 150mio isk each. that makes 2.85bio isk. after asking him how much he pays for the GTCs he said: 12.22Ç per GTC so he bought for around 230Ç 2.85bio isk. that's if he his endevour is completly legal. if we take a look at e-bay we see suddenly see that 100mio isk go for around 10-13Ç. in the worst case scenario for the e-bay seller his 2.85bio isk go for 285Ç - it's a win of 55Ç .. in the best case for the seller it's a win of 140Ç. Miss Overlord Gallente EUROPEANS	Posted - 2006.10.12 11:11:00 - [17] i farm ingame ISK for my own personal ingame uses by simply ratting in 0.0 (as do most peeps that live out there) much more effective than using some GTC which is legal and i do support for those that cant play the game and at lesat with GTC = revenues for CCP = more money to improve the game Ebay on the other hand cut off their hands and suicide bomb their macro bots as i dont agree with that.

I made isk ingame and bought GTC to extend my account, I simply can not afford to pay fo rthe game that I love. Its agreat concept for those who cant afford to play. Its also a loophole to buy isk with RL cash, if people want to do this then fine let them waste their RL cash for ISK that you can loss in seconds ------

Thats the postive side of GTCs, is it worth the negative side. I don't know. But you're correct experience counts. We have people on here asking how to fit CNRs because they've lost one or two. Then you see why, the worst fittings ever. You get people moaning that ships are underpowered then you see the fittings. I know this would put you out of the game and it sucks but I hate the huge number of abusers out there.
