if a frigate is the only thing you can fly, that station might take a few weeks. unless it's a level 1 mission objective that is.
the punisher in one of the best frigs in the game. go with it hands down. ___ smack talk is just that, get over it. the problem arises when one has been misinformed of said intelligence and unwittingly says something stupid, breaking down the art of communication/debate. |

The forum at my first reply, but I vote for punisher. If you're killing the habitat like I think your mission is calling for, it will take 5-10 minutes regardless of which one you choose.

Although I think the inquistor is an underrated frigate, at least as a mission runner, the best Amarr frigate for combat is the Punisher. Its resistance bonuses make it probably the toughest tech 1 frigate in the game in terms of raw tank ability. Its an excellent mission runner and by reputation not bad in pvp if used properly (although its not a great tackler due to lack of mid slots). If the issue is solely how to take out the habitat faster, the Inquistor might actually do better because you can chuck some kenetic missiles at the beast. Lasers aren't the best for attacking structures.

I agree with Luxor, while the Punisher is without doubt the finest amarr frigate, to get the best out of it, does take time. The Inquie, is a fine first fighting ship though it can be quickly set up to do some decent damage, much faster then the Punisher, though the Puni will eventually outstrip it damage wise, and in taking damage. another good use for an Inquisitor, is if you jam the low slots full of CE's it also makes a half decent little hauler too

In a protracted fight the Punisher is definetly the better of the two, it's gotten me through many fight, plus it looks much cooler .
But because of its three missile bays the Inquisitor does have a pretty hefty punch (I find that the fourth turret slot is next to useless as the missiles and other support modules soak up enough grid and cpu that you can't fit a decent gun). It's one advantage over other Amarr ships is that while most Amarr ships rely on lasers doing mostly EM and Thermal damage, you can change your missile loadouts on the fly to deal any specific kind of damage depending on the opponents you're facing.
As a side benefit with missiles you can move anywhere from 500m to about 20k and still have the same overall damage capability, so you can choose the engagement range based on what keeps you away from your opponents guns most effectively, whereas with a Punishers reliance on guns you have to consider what range you can score hits on best (course if your opponent uses missles its a moot point)
Most importantly the larger cargo bay lets you carry WAY more loot salvaged from the smoldering husks of your opponents... v^v^v Bladesmith Mining & Development; Building you a better future...because face it rookie, you're too damn lazy to do it yourself. v^v^v |

Jei, it's been awhile since I was last in an Inquisitor, but I think you are wrong there. Is not an Inquisitor load out either 3 missile bays, or two missile bays and a turret?

inquisitor has 4 high slots afaik, so 3 launchers and a turret/energy neutraliser/nosferatu. for a low skilled pilot the inquisitor is more viable, as missiles dont do random damage , they do a set amount and like has been said you can change the damage type. i flew an inquisitor as my frig of choice for the first 5 months of playing eve, and for me it performed better than the punisher. with this setup i have beaten punishers who are better sp wise than me.: lows: 1x small armor repair (pref tech 2) 2x energized adaptive nano membranes meds: 1x tracking disrupter 1x 1mn afterburner highs: 3x standard missile launchers 1x small nosferatu
if you have trouble fitting everything exhange the energized adaptives for adaptive resistance plates as they have less reqs, but you wont be as effective armor wise. the tracking disrupter is more for pvp, as this will help you tank as any turret will have a harder time hitting you combined with your small sig radius and afterburner. for pve mebbe switch out for a cap recharger. missions
