I just bought a couple of prosthetic limbs. After I put them on I felt a certain sense of dread.
The Question - If I remove these limbs in character customization will I lose the item entirely? (I'm thinking implants) |

They just appear back in your item hangar and if you are podded while wearing them, your new clone will have them also.
If you take them off in a station you don't want them at, don't put them in a ship cargo for transport. Just wear them again and then fly to where you want to keep them, then change out of them.
