I dont mean to sound like a little whiny baby but im upset.
10 minutes ago was the second time I went up against a curse and it was a impossible fight.
The first time I went up against a Curse, I lost my Eagle, The second the fight started he Insta Drained all my cap and the drones broke my Eagles shield tank, ate through its armor and killed me all in less than 15 seconds.
The second time I went up aginst a curse was a few minutes ago, I brough my brutix in and it insta drained my cap and its drones killed me in less than 10 seconds.
How is someone supposed to kill something that can instantly drain all of your cap unless you are in something atleast the size of a battleship?
Not to mention that its drones do a extreme amount of damage.
Infact with is Nosferatu's killing all your cap which will break any good active tank, lets say you were able to passive tank your ship and use missiles which can launch without needed cap,
Even if you came close to killing it since you have no cap, the curse could just easily warp away when its losing the fight because with no cap you cant lock it down.
Unless the person fighting the Curse is in a battleship or something larger, they have no chance of killing this thing solo.

Curse is fine. Leave it!
Take a missile or a drone ship out, fit ecm and kill its drones.
It can't hurt you without weapons.

Curse is so easy to kill with some tactics it's crazy. Drones..ecm...missiles... Remember curse is fragile.

Erm.. just kill its drones with your drones.
From my understanding they're meant to be the anti-hac as much as the hac support ?

This is too funny, Skully has a picture of her (I guess) beloved curse/pilgrim in signature, and your signature is actually showing your last kill (a Raven) in a Pilgrim!

have u ever simply considered that the Eagle is a SNIPER ship and not a close range ship? its not supposed to go 1v1 w most ships at all, its supposed to be a sniper support for gangs. Stop using ships for things their not meant to be used and still think u can win. Then when u get wtfbbq u whine about how overpowered the oponents ship was when it fact it was ur lack of thinking that lost u the fight.

First time i met a curse i died aswell. But after looking @ the stats (they were 2 weeks into the game). I saw that it has the dronebay of a vexor. Meaning that if you gun down the drones he will not send wave after wave...Its all over 
This mind sound very weird (and i normally dont suggest it) but take the brutix, plate it up A LOT and fit some AC guns combined with a small injector with small charges in it.
1. It will take a longtime to rip through you
2. You can still fire with ac guns
3. You can shoot with drones
4. Small injector isnt feeding his tank that much
Web his drones and start firing @ them (no capusage from ac). They will die fast. WHen your cap is gone just inject a bit injector so you can keep your web+scram running...and you have a dead curse...

You engaged a Curse in a sniper HAC, at short range.. Had it been a plated Thorax you would have died just the same, so whats your point? You took a long range ship to a short range fight and died? Boohoo..

The curse is effective at what it does. Effective does not mean it's overpowered.

Try using a rook to beat it. With some multispecs and at least one ECM burst, it is pretty much home free, and just as much "overpowered".

Adapt and overcome.I mean..its a Curse, not a Pilgrim, so its not like u didnt know it was there. Yet still u engaged in a frackin Eagle.
Curse it not overpowered, leave it alone kthx. Without imp, or mods,it has around 1600 armour.Ive flown inties with more. Without a faction tank, or a plate it cant tank for sh1t.
Also consider the pilots skills, with lv5 recon, lv5 Drone Int etc, they are very painful.Without a neut,they can drain most hacs in around 15 secs.Assuming 100% to 0% and other cap useage on target. So in combat, cap reliant hacs will find themselves drained faster, as there no doubt using mods.
Cap is life for most ships. Dont be surprised when u try and take on ANY nos ship,with a cap reliant ship and die tbh. Common sense prevails.

Base sensor strength is pretty good on them. And dont forget, a lot of Curse will be packing ECM too. As its simply an I WIN button atm.

To be fair, he probably didn't have Amarr racials. Very few people do.
But carrying a multispec or two will help you escape a curse, until you can refit to deal with it properly.
It *is* a very good ship, yes. But there are at least three other ships that I would be more worried about in 1vs1, one of which (Pilgrim) is able to get me unprepared with ease.

jsut Use EW. forge tank, just make sure he cant hit ya.

ECM won't help much if the curse locks and sets his drones on you first. You should be abel to escape though.

I lost my Curse yesterday. I warped to a belt and landed within 2km of a Geddon. That geddon had a Web, 3 heavy nos and a heavy neut. I found myself instantly at 0 cap and unable to escape. then another Geddon warped in at 50km with Tachs and Gleam and I popped in about 2 volleys, my TD already on the first geddon.

Curse is an amazing ship... Solo.

Yeah eagle as a long range hac vs a short range hac, as u have been nosed u have been closer then 10k which means in other words, the mistake has been before. Fought some curses there myself and i must say tough ship, but in no way overpowerd.

They are the new officer drones CCP has released. Head into a drone 10/10 complex, get to the last stage, then scoop the overseer to dronebay. :D
