Where do I go after this? I asked in Rookie several times but it's so busy, I dont' get an answer and my text gets swallowed up. It's fine, just taking more time so I thought I would come ask here. |

Also now might not be a bad time to look for a player corp. Eve is a tough game to solo, it's meant to be played in groups. |

Will head there next. no worries dude, you should look into joining a player corp soon(ish), we are the content in eve so once you have a basic handle on the mechanics its defiantly a good move to start playing with the rest of us

Well the tutorial missions were supposed to show you the various things you could do, so you can make a decision. The epic arc is nice, but when it's done, you're still going to have to make a decision. This is a sandbox game, you won't have a string of quests leading you along.
So think about it. |

I suggest you start running level 1 agent missions. Pick an NPC corp or any planet really, talk to the resident agent, and just start flying level 1 missions.
You have a lot of skill training ahead of you. To get started on it click on your ship info and select the Mastery tab. This will show you the skills you need to train to for the Mastery levels 1-5.
Read the sticky in this forum on choosing a corporation if that interests you. There are crappy corporations as well as good ones just like everything else in this game.
Learn, learn, learn. There are many pitfalls and nonsensical game "rules/features".

After the tutorials / NPE....welcome to the sandbox.
AKA, do what ever you like. If you have to ask others what to do, then you seriously need to learn to understand the "way of the sandbox".
EVE is one and doesn't have any quest lines or end game. You do what ever you want, you set your own end game etc. etc.

As many have already said, find yourself a player group to get involved with. There are many out there and even of the many that could be recommended they won't necessarily fit or suit your needs and playstyle so check them out, get in their channels and ask questions and get on their comms (if they allow that, many do).
Whether you actually join a corp or not do not play this game alone. You'll only get so far and you'll be easily frustrated.

There is a lot you can do in Eve Online. Missioning, resource gathering (mining, gas huffing, Planetary Interaction, etc. - note many use alts to do these activities), exploration, PvP (fleet, small gang, solo), site running (usually along with exploration), industry (manufacturing, research, invention, etc.), ganking, piracy, scamming (again, many use alts for this), etc.
Most activities require a significant amount of skill training, practice, doing it with others, and just experience to be able to do them consistently well.
Eve will rarely reward you with great loot and payouts "everytime" but you have to be doing these things in order to make those occasional scores.
Expect loss. Ship loss is a normal part of the game, along with other losses. This is normal. If you want to quit because of a loss then this game isn't for you, or at least you put too many of your eggs in one basket.
I recommend you join the Help chat channel in-game called "E-UNI". It's a better pace than Rookie Help, and you have many veteran players there offering their advice and opinions. Always keep in mind that someone's opinion is just that. For example, you'll see a lot of dialogue and such that "mining is bad." That's their opinion. You're best off finding out why someone would offer such an opinion. What's bad for them isn't necessarily bad for you.
Don't be afraid to take risks but don't risk more than you can afford to lose. Take those steps when you're ready.

If you want to do more killing of NPCs in the short term, do try out the Sisters epic arc as suggested.
Another thing you might find interesting, (assuming you can afford to lose a frigate), is to find a lowsec security mission agent that offers level 1 and 2 missions. The system Ravarin has level 1 and 3 missions (3 will be beyond you now) and if you enter it via Ala - Fasse - Stegette - Ravarin it's pretty safe to get to.
You'll learn a lot about dodging other players by running PVE content in lowsec. Just be in both a ship AND a clone you can afford to lose.
