This is a human problem and not an EvE problem. Don't like your experience? Join another corporation.
I used to fly with a guy who I thought was pretty cool and competent. But his constant outbursts became very tiring - because even though EvE 'is real' it is still a game. Many of us want to play to relax with the occasional stresses.
Even carebeary games like World of Warcraft have that - if not MORE of this type of interaction. Why? Because reputation means nothing in those games now due to how their features partition the community. Screw up in a dungeon or raid? Get ready to get kicked or moaned at.
Can't deal with the possibility of a cringey baby ruining your game?

OP should explain how a zero SP first time player makes 1.2b in a week even by salvaging the bigger (station) Sanctums you get about 2-4m salvage you are not old enough to be able salvaging T2 ships on a battlfield .... did you play 24hours a day the hole week ? this 1.2b information seems fishy |

If your throwing in the towel after 7 days, then pick a different group of friends and move on. If you want a group of people who will care about you in game and out, toughen up and stick it out. If they call you out on something, rather than get pissy about it, try thinking about what they said and if it applies to you. If it doesn't, fire back and laugh about it later, if it does, take the advice if its good and roll with it.

I started playing a little under 2 months ago now, and spent a good part of that time in Karmafleet. The Karmafleet experience was extremely laid back, low-pressure, and a great way to get into the game. Everyone was extremely friendly and I still hang out in the Karmafleet channel on out-of-game comms to see what's going on even after I joined my RL friends in ENL-I.
OP, If you got the treatment you're claiming from Karmafleet and Goonswarm, I can only imagine how terrible it is dealing with you. Goons adore newbees to the point of near-worship, I've never ran across a more welcoming and forgiving environment in an MMO.
You really should reassess how you approach things. |
