Actually, he was going to post it already, but I asked him to wait until I had spoken to the Grand Inquisitor in private, so that I can prepare the groundwork before we go public. Matters of such importance are best handled face to face, among honest men.
It is precisely because I appreciate the significance of the affair that I refuse to make a hasty decision. Instead, I am speaking to all sides of the controversy and extend them the careful study they require. Note, please, that the original post by the Grand Inquisitor was only made public yesterday. In the meantime, I have spoken to Azador Kavian, to Hitomi Ayame of the Royal Knights, and to several pilots at PIE. I have also written a private letter to Gaius Kador. By all reasonable standards of politics, I daresay that I am working on the issue with remarkable speed. As is Azador, who is busy preparing his statement.
With all due respect, I believe that in this light, your complaints are ill-founded. Surely, a small amount of patience and good will is not too much to ask.

Azador's sermon was clearly the viewpoint of a single man and not the religious or political stance of the entirety of the kingdom as certain heathens are trying so desperately to paint it. I find the attempt by the sani sabik dogs to sew further discord among God's faithful to be laughable. The obvious attempt to sunder the brotherhood we Khanid share with the empire through their poisonous rhetoric are blatant and ultimately futile.

I suppose my point was not sharp enough to be understood. What I am saying is: 'clarification' is not what I, and I belive the Grand Inquisitor, seek. It is the untter renouciation of the very ideas he put fourth and supported by his followers. Rest assured, after my many years in school, I can read a theological exploration and deduce the basic argument. The arguments of this man are heretical and require not a simple dumbing down but utter rejection.
I am sure that you, like the man who wrote them and the people who agree with them understand full well what they imply - so 'clerification' is not what is being demanded.
Days pass, and I will make sure the storm will continue, this issue will not be brushed aside as though it does not matter. The request is simple: confess.

It is with a heavy heart I have to accept the fact that Azador Kavian has failed to comply with the initial terms of absolution presented him.
So be it.
This case will present an unusual challenge, as simply put, Azador Kavian and the KHAN do not swear fealty to the Empire. As such there can be no Inquisition in the traditional sense of the word, and the KHAN will henceforth be considered a foreign entity for all purposes. However, the fact remains that this attack on our very Faith has been performed by a True Amarr, and the KHAN claim allegiance to a sovereign state with good relations to the Empire.
The simple solution to this would be, with the official statements available to me on GalNet, to consider Azador Kavian, and by extention the KHAN, a hostile entity. The next course of action would then be obvious to all.
Due to diplomatic requests from other, to remain unnamed, entities of differing allegiance, I will temporarily extend onto Azador Kavian and the KHAN the rights of an entity considered friendly to the Empire until further notice. I consider the current Empire - Kingdom relations to be of the utmost importance.
Our next course of action is under consideration. What must be done, will be done.

Arderich declared war on us. Bruderschaft forces went a week without engaging, and for the most part stayed in station or well away from KHAN. After that, they dropped the war, and to date no formal explanation has been given.
