So i'm looking for help with speccing my Armageddon towards tanking. My set up currently consists of:
2 Heavy nos's and one gremlin 1 scrambler, tho thinking about swapping it the long range variety 1 webifier 1 microwarpdrive
My low slots needs work, i'm still training towards hardeners. But I have the usual items, repairer, warp stabilisers damage control unit, and some passive resistence modules until i can get access to the hardeners themselves.
So I ask, from my rather nub like perspective, is this the way i should be speccing? Or am i missing something completely

For tanking, use the apoc. Geddon is a gank ship through and through.
Plus it'll give you more grid to mount all the mods. ---------- My sig is boring. |

for ammar pvp bs skills, I would put tanking skills on the backburner and start training for t2 large beams, advanced weapon upgrades (at least 4 but 5 helps) and get all your damage skills up there.
Why? Amarr BS aren't good for much these days except for sniping.

why is it then t2 larges can break a 80-75% t2 repper tank? (on a bs)
lasers are underestimated and your a fool to ignore them

I hate to point out your poor eve-glish but I can't figure out what you're talking about...
I think you meant to say: "why is it that t2 mega beams can break a tank with a t2 large rep and 75-80% resistances?" (and then the part about me being a fool).
Well in my post I suggested that the person training work on their sniping skills. The reason for this is, Amarr ships are currently good at doing damage long range (their close range weapons are weak and their lack of midslots means they can't win close range until ECM is changed).
As for you being impressed by a ship being able to break a tank... you are just new to EVE. Not a fool, but you don't realize that every BS in the game can beat a 1 rep tank with those resists if they fit gank. Even a Scorpion. (in case you're wondering, that's a ship designed for electronic warfare... hehe, sorry couldn't resist the urge to retaliate).

I have a quesiton and yes I am a Newb, so please forgive if I am asking obvious questions.
Is the reason that the Ammar BS have to stay as sniping is because of the type of dammage it is doing, i.e. EM? Also, is why does ECM make a difference with the Ammar and the amount of mid-slots it has?
Thanks,
Fester

Well, if you're thinking of flying a BS, as a 'newb', you shouldn't bother. But if you're just asking, ECM modules take midslots; and the more of them you have the more effective you are at jamming targets.
