In the world of EVE everyone seems content and have accepted the fact that Earth and Sol are now just a part of history.
But If there was a way to get back, would you? Think about it, Earth could have excelled in technology with incredible classes of ships and equipment that would make the Jovians cringe.
Lol perhaps Tech 47 would allow us to build Jumpgates back to Earth?
I'm just curious if the story is ever likely to turn towards getting back to earth. Maybe one unit of Veldspar is worth 100 Billion on earth, who knows?

Current sig as of today to Sunday is by character Alexandra Belani he don't work for less than 5 mil isk.
The only reason why I ask about this earth thing is that the Amarr thing looks to go on for another 2 months and its a story which doesnt include everyone. |

Or perhaps earth is a dreary, uninhabitable wasteland, whose ecosystem took the last hit over a thousand years ago.
Who knows? Certainly, if they had evolved to tech 47, they would surely have reopened the EVE gate once more, right? Or not.

Well for the topic it sounds like a lot of fun; like maybe the earth is destroyed in a supernova or invaded by aliens... Or they dont see the EVE factions as humans anymore and declare war on them.
Anyway one thing is for sure, the EVE history gives a lot of room to grow and roleplay, but CCP is currently trying to fix the game mechanics, bugs, exploits and balance between certain aspects, so this idea must wait at least 2 years!
Still its good to see creative ppl in the community.

Not a lot of people in the EE universe know anything about the old earth. It's still a mystery as to who built the EvE Gate :)
The 'common' peoiple certainly wouldnt know anything =|

Hmm "contact earth" , sounds like a great expansion pack to me.
It is also a possible way of getting new CDs in the shops and new review, advertisements and so on

Look a this from this point of view.
Maybe the "close" of the EVE Gate wasn't a natural catastrophe. Maybe the gates were destroyed on purpose from the other side? Maybe something really bad happened there... and there is no more Earth...

People still believe that Old Earth rubbish?
Like any myths from 21,000 years ago can be relied upon to be true. I seriously doubt that Earth ever existed
