Hello friends! I'll be concise here.
Gamers Sanctum has a relatively high-end dedi in a data center in Chicago (Internap) that we use for our official game servers. We also have a box for our voice servers, and it is ridiculously under utilized. So, we will set you up a 32 slot teamspeak server free of charge. There is no gimmick, there is no catch. It's free. We only ask, but do not require, that you put our gaming news website URL in the motd of the teamspeak server.
Why are we doing this? Well, it is mostly altruistic. But, more than that, we want to build a working relationship with a lot of smaller corporations to help create content in Eve Online. This gives you better, more solid communication, and gives us something to write about when you blow up your enemy fleet, or successfully build your first capital!
I'm going to limit this to the first 10 requests I get, and will keep an active roster of 10 at a time. If I see no activity on a specific teamspeak server for 7 days (meaning less than 2 connections per day for a week), I'll drop the slot in favor of someone else who needs it.
In order to submit a request, please fill out this form. It will take up to 24 hours for me to setup the server and get everything going. Please be sure to specify what you want the server name to be (your corporation would be a good name). Once setup, I'll have you connect and give you server admin. I'm also willing to do subdomain hosting, i.e. instead of giving your members an IP address you can give them a name from one of my domains.
TS3 Address: yourcorpname.gamerssanctum.net:portnumber -- or yourcorpname.pleaseignore.org:portnumber
So it would look like: ts3.gamerssanctum.net:24015 (or something like that, port will change based on order.)
No, at this time I'm not integrating scripts to allow automatic registration via the API and permissions assigning. Maybe in the future.
If you have any questions or inquires, please contact me directly at [email protected] or by posting in this thread, or sending me an Evemail.
