First off, I hate the fact that EvE is such an awesome tool for procrastinators. My paper is due in all of 6 hours, and I have spent the past week playing EvE rather than writing it.
Second, I am mistyping and making errors all over the place because my fingers are trained to type certain things in certain ways. I type Roman numerals rather than numbers. I capitalize words and letters that should not be capitalized (shame on me for trying to use a character named Bob and thinking that I wouldn't type BoB every damn time...). I type on the forums so that I can get away from doing my paper.
...nuts.
Side note: I have now outfitted my hauler with one Miner 2. I am in empire space, mining while I'm AFK writing my paper. I only go to the game when I hear the nice lady say that I killed the rock or ran out of cargo room, or when I hear the mean rats shooting at me.

I know what you mean since its exam week for me, but i think you really need to lay off a bit. Dont go dropping classes cuz you didnt even show up cuz EVE had your ball strapped to the chair......Anyway gl on your paper.

Nah, I know enough to not drop any classes or miss them or anything. I'm not THAT into it yet.
But I reallllly just do not want to do this paper. I really should just uninstall EvE from one of my computers and designate that as the "Work Computer" and only do my work there. That way I won't have any distractions.

Eve is better than school, for sure. That's why I just work dead end jobs, school is for suckers, takes to much Eve time. I can't make ISK while writing stupid book words.

Thats why you should write your paper in an environment where you don't have eve working. (er, and then I go back to playing ppracer)
Or rather I should say, use an under powered (video card wise anyways) laptop and go down to the lobby of your dorm and start typing. (and then someone you know, thats not in this class, and is bored will come over and start talking to you, you take the distraction, and you lose an hour)
So uh... take your laptop across campus to the library? (its cold outside!)
So uh... EMP anyone?

NYT did an investigative report on this a while ago... those things are all outsourced to underpaid people in India and providing page after page of entertaining broken english. Not exactly something you want to turn in for your english paper!

One time I returned home from work, this was late in the evening, I played until about 3PM next day, realising I had a shift at 5PM.. I ended up freaking out and I remember showering, getting ready, and then as I put my shoes on at 4:45PM to walk out the door I passed out on the couch.
I've done that twice.
