Hello all,
A friend and I have recently resubbed after about a year hiatus, and we're interested in two-manning WH sites.
We've been in WHs before, usually for hit-and-run mining ops with a few more friends, but it isn't really viable with just the two of us (three characters) so we want to run the sites we find.
However, we're stuck for ships & fittings. The Stratios seems a nice all-round ship, but we're worried about the price of the ship itself and the fitting when there are possibly cheaper alternatives. I've done a bit of research and the general opinion on the Stratios seems to be split, and most of the fits I've found don't really scream out to me as being "perfect". We're more interested in the PvE side of things and being able to avoid ganks, rather than doing the ganking ourselves.
I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this subject and possibly recommend any ships/fittings?

Running anoms? Drake , VNI , Myrm in C2's without any "effect" , almost anything will run C1's |

Checkout the wormohloe section of the forums, there is a sticky with ships and fittings in it
For C1 and 2 I use a shield buffer myrm, my mate runs a drake, you can use bling ships but T2 fitted battle cruisers are easily replaced, if you go down the drone boat path make sure to fit ewar to keep sleeper aggro off the drones |

You can run c1/c2 site semi-afk with a svipul (means you ocassionally orbit-500m the next ship). It also goes superfast, has a probe scanner, is cheapish and a large cargohold for a MTU.

and if you want to get more efficient upgrade that to Vexor Navy Issue or even much better the Gila. You can do both with the idea of remote repping each other if you feel like that is your style to play the game. |
