Is there any way to solo this in a Domi?
The second I release my drones I get full aggro in the 4th room. The other rooms have been nearly trivial, but the second I get full aggroed I can't tank the thing even with two reppers running...

If you're referring to the merc room, I was helping a corpmate with that and we always fled. Eventually, we ended up suiciding a bunch of medium drones with drone links to get through it.

I know a lot of a Dominix's damage output comes from their drones so this tip kind of defeats the purpose but from my experience releasing drones in many of the missions triggers a full aggro on the drones then eventually you. So to avoid that I just don't use drones until the last spawn. Instead I just beat on the frigs with a disappointing amount of torps. Yes its a lot of "wasted" ammo but it prevents aggroing the entire group.
As for the 4th stage of the storyline mission, the mercenaries still do a lot of kinetic and thermal damage but they also do a decent amount of em and explossive. So to help tank that stage I would recomend fitting to resist all damage types in that stage.
Hope this helps
Asside from that... why are there npc apocs and geddons using torps/cruises and shield boosting in this mission? Very strange...

It wound up taking five of us to complete this one. The tanker had two sets of heavy armor repair drones on him...doubt it's soloable.

Its a tough room that but faction fittings do make it easier. Now i tend to aggro the whole room, then kill webbers > cruisers > bs like normal, having everything in nos range helps keep the tank running long enough to make the incoming DPS manageable.
This is with T2/Faction tank, T2 drones etc but pretty sure it can be done without faction stuff just be a bit tougher

In a Domi it may take a couple of warp outs....your most important targets (if armour tanking) are the wingmen...4 from memory...get these out of the way and things become much easier :-) The way I prefer to do it is to warp in and get distance...80kms or so then launch sentries and frag the wingmen and cruisers as they approach.....tank the BSs that are hassling you.....and remember warping out is not running away. It's a tactical withdrawal. Sure its a pain in arse to run thru the complex again but...
Aaaaanyway....I've had this 3 or 4 times and had to warp out every time but I've always completed it No faction stuff just T2 tank

I finally actually did it last night with 2 warp outs. First I converted my Domi to a blasterboat and killed all the BSes with guns. Then I had to warp out to reconfigure to a railboat and replenish cap boosters to kill some cruisers. Finally I manage to get the rats down enough so that I can just tank the rest and kill everything with drones.
Thanks for the advice, guys, wouldn't even think about doing it this way without ya'll. =)
