Hi all I flying a Dom at the mo and I'm fed up with being target jammed. Do you have any thoughts on stopping this. I've heard about sensor boosters but i can't find any for magnetic sensors, any ideas on where to find them? plus any other thoughts on how to better weather a ECM attack.

Sensor boosters work for all sensor types, there are no specialized boosters like it's with ECCM.
Or perhaps you are confusing sensor boosters and ECCM? Sensor boosters enhance your targeting rang & speed - a counter for sensor dampeners, which do the opposite. ECCM increases your sensor strength in order to counter ECM devices, which reduce it.
If you really want protection you need both things, a good ECCM outfit won't help you anything if you are dampened and vice versa.
I would suggest 3 sensor boosters in the med slots. Should give you a targeting range of 20km if you are jammed by 4 dampeners of the same item quality. Which shoul you enable to shoot back at any single attack, since they need to stay in 20km range in order to scramble your warpdrive. And 3 passive, strength 2 ECCM devices in your low slots - which will save you from a 4 multispec or 3 specialized ECM setup. To be save from 4 specialized you would need to get an additional 6 ECCM strenght, which would mean 3 more lowslot or 2 medslot eccm - but then your ship would be essentially only be eccm and guns. Not the most effective setup.
And keep in mind that even with the less oberkill setup, a pirate with a damage-based BS and just a warpscrambler as "ECM" will kill you easily.
Considering that I would just use a setup with 2-3 warp core stabs. So, if someone tries to attack you, just flee.

thx for the reply, any idea where i could get the eccm units for magnetic sensors as i can only find RADAR and LADAR in my area of eve. I want to be able to return fire on ecm ships such as bb/scorp during a fleet action, i won't really need to flee but i will need to be able to return fire incase our own ecm ships are busy with a different target.
Also it'll be handy to surprise the Pc Pirates who camp gates, with a volley of return fire from a supposedly jammed ship

In another area perhaps. Just look, they are quite common. If everything faills, try the trade-spam-chat. And I wouldn't neglict the possibility that you'll be dampened - a lot of PVP players use them, since they need a lot less cap than ECM.
I wouldn't use ECCM in fleet action at all, because if you don't have enough anti-jammers you have lost already. If 1-2 ships proove to be unjammable fire will just be concentrated on them and they will die fast.
By using ECCM you will sacrifice the vast maiority of your ships damage and defence potential against common weapons.

You need to hunt serpentis pirates. They drop magnetometric ECCM, both low slot (which give 2 strength) and mid slot (which give 3 strength but must be activated). ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."
