Im getting the 0% cap bug again. Before I would clear my cache and prefs and relog and this would fix it. Now this wont work. Removing/Replacing mods, docking/undocking nothing helps The game is unplayable now HHEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!

I haven't had this hit me before, but I thought I heard that switching ships usually fixed it.
/me prays this bug gets fixed before it hits him.

I've experienced a cap bug a few times recently where my cap drains MUCH faster than it should. I can normally run my shield boost indefinetly but when this bug hits it drains my cap in 3-4 activations. Logging off and back on 2-3 times ussually clears it up though. Because of how dangerous this could be in battle I always test my cap now before venturing out away from the station.

Edited by: Kaleb on 02/11/2003 03:10:22 I also have this problem consistantly :/
Clearing cache, relogging didnt work... Just relogging works for about 10 minutes...

I had this the other day, still there after a relog, so ran logserver. Apparently the BR proved useful to the devs. They've tracked down that the client is using the correct recharge time, but somehow is still miscalculating the recharges. Cross your fingers for a fix "soon (tm)".
Oh, and the bug even persisted when I came back online after *EIGHT* hours, into the same system. But soon as I jumped to a new system it cleared. So that may be a workaround.

I usually find that this is just a UI (graphical) bug and that my cap actually drains normally! However this is, of course, annoying as then you don't know what amount of cap you actually have left!
I also find that it depends on what ship/ship setup/system I'm flying through

Thanks people I tried switching ships back and forth a couple times and loging in/out a couple times with a 5 min break and it seems to have gone away, at least for now......

I've noticed it happens to me when I have a cap static increase module, a cap recharging module, and a shield booster module. I'm not sure if it only happens when I switch the boost module from automatic to manual; however, I seem to notice it most often after I've switched. Any of you have similar set ups? (This is for cap draining too quickly). Also, it does seem to be just a graphical error on the client side for me.
