It seems you are conscientious in determining these to be true macroers, so ........ well done and thank you for eliminating a portion of a game problem.
It seems from your corps icon that you're a pirate. Congratulations on turning your natural proclivities to the benefit of all. Save the macroers of course.

The amount of "evidence" you collect is entirely discretional. CCP for instance look to see if the account is fully paid, then determine that they are NOT using macros.
However, if you do have a few minutes to spare, look for the following:-
Look inside the jet can they are mining into (this does not cause aggro as long as you don't touch the contents)
Inside the can, if there is one pile per material mined, ie, "Stack All" is being used. Chances are they are human. If there is 30 piles of veldspar all at 833 units, chances are it's a macro.
Look at the agent standings of the miner, employment history etc, does it look like a human player did it? Humans don't mine from the outset and never stop mining. (see "Sweatshop")
Try bumping the miner away from his can. Does he try to move back, or does it drop a new can? Humans try to move back, they may even get all uppity and deploy drones and lock on. Macros do not.
Ok, still not convinced? Flip the can. Sit and watch. A macro will not lock, will not fire, and in fact will continue mining and deploying cans right next to you. When the hauler arrives (often under human operation) and sees what you have done, suddenly you get a reaction, which is usually warp away and/or log off. It is extremely rare you will get attacked. There is no profit in destroying ships.
Haulers will sometimes flip the miners can to become hauler owned, not miner owned. This is so that the hauler can return in a ship bigger than yours (always bigger, never equal sized, that is just so "Eve") and destroy your ship, hoping to deter you from stealing the ore. If you're not interested in fighting, flip cans in a shuttle, this really annoys them.
If you pick on a human miner, you will soon know from the rants in local or private conversations. Where you go from there is up to you as an Eve player. Personally I think human miners have enough of a hard time as it is without me piling on their misery. So I leave them to it after they've taken there ore back/blown up my ship/whatever.
Sweatshop. There are often rants about Sweatshops as opposed to macro, usually derived from the false idea that a sweatshop (23/7 businesses employing 3 shifts of humans to maintain continual mining operations) is mutually exclusive from using macros, which it certainly isn't. However my personal view is that the destructive effect on Eve of a solo macro user, a macro sweatshop, or a multi-human sweatshop is the same in each case, and thus they can all be considered equally abhorrent.
Corps. While macro sweatshops rarely use player corps, likewise player corps rarely use macros. However several corps have been noticed to use Macros, and several Macros have been noticed to use player corps. The KOS alliance is, probably inadvertently, being used to harbour plex farmers who prefer Alliance protection while plex farming, then they slip back to NPC corp when they resume Asteroid farming.
Irony. The macro users have smartened up a lot recently. Now it is extremely difficult to get them to aggress, they rarely steal ore back, and rarely exercise Kill Rights. But the number of protection units (the Plex Farmers who have been naughty and put on protection duty) is rising. Hence the rise in the number of suicides these days, as it is fast becoming the last available resort. With the increase of the protection units, one could be happy that we're making players out of the sweatshop staff. Irony indeed, as it gives a validity to the very existance of there accounts.
Put home addresses in loss and killmails. Maybe then the community will find a way to control themselves a bit better. |

A player who farms a complex. Normally with a group of mates, they spend all day, every day, doing the complex/ waiting for respawn/ doing the complex etc etc

To the OP:
I've got info on a .7 system that 3 groups of 4-5 Macks are mining in, and they are, to a T, fitting the bill of suspect players. Convo me or whatnot, in the meantime I'm going to do some havoc here...

What happens when 8 poor macrominers get stuck in a player corp?
11 dead Mackinaws. 10 dead Pods.
Many thanks to emptiness of horizons corp who gave them the fashionable title of "Macro Miner" making them unable to leave while the punishment is handed out.
This is much more enjoyable than suiciding my apoc and trashing my sec status. (and cheaper!)
My total macro kill count is now:
19 Mackinaws 16 Pods
Sok you need to get the sec status back up so we can lay even more hurt down.
I encourage anyone with 5+ sec status and the ability to fly a raven or apoc to fit up 8 large yf-12as and a bunch of plate and go to down on this menance to society.

my ceo has asked me to post on his behalf. below is a log, the name of the macro miner has been changed to protect his identity.
Quote:
macro miner > hi emptiness > hello macro miner > I didn't want in the army corps to develop now.How can leave?? emptiness > you press the quit corp button macro miner > Linguistic difficulties. My English is also very bad.Have no way to communicate with you emptiness > so what would you like me to say? macro miner > A member with roles or grantable roles cannot leave a corporation. Member macro miner has the following roles: Security Officer, A member cannot leave a corporation unless they hava gone through the mandatory stasis period. The stasis period i... emptiness > so remove all roles first macro miner > I how to should do. emptiness > remove all roles button emptiness > why would a macro miner join a player corp? macro miner > You are say I want to attend of new army corps??That is what the person of our nations set up.The better exchanges is some. emptiness > why don't you play on the chinese server? they speak your language emptiness > i will not stop you from quitting by yourself. if you want me to kick you out it will cost you 5b isk macro miner > 50000? emptiness > 5,000,000,000 macro miner > I have no so many money! emptiness > how much do you have? macro miner > 500000 emptiness > 5,000,000,000 i will wait until you save up macro miner > I am true of have no so many money..Beg you to help me once. emptiness > take your time. the cost is 5,000,000,000 macro miner > oh My God emptiness > oh your god macro miner > You really will play trick emptiness > welcome to eve
i would like to point out we are not forcing them/him to stay, if he chooses he can remove corp roles wait 24 hours and quit just as it was explained to him. i admit my ceo has been rather cold to him but i am not sure if i disagree with this tactic.

Geddons don't have enough CPU to fit 8 large sbs and still have enough plate in the lows.
If anyone is considering doing this I'd be willing to help out with your out of pocket costs.

I noticed that your video was much smoother, did you give fraps a higher priority than EVE?
Also: What is your CPU speed, and what video card are you using?
