Is there any way of controling the heading and angle of your ship other than clicking on a point on the horizon?
Would be nice to be able to turn and align your ship on the stop.
Also would make for very cool visuals if you could fly a Blasterax through the wreckage of an exploding ship and then perform a 360 degree barrel-role! _______________________________________________ Jita Traffic Control: You are #3251 in queue for jump-in because its sunday. |

Other than for visuals, it would serve no purposes in EVE. And even then, most times the only thing you see of other ships is a small white (sometimes flashing red) square on the screen.
All in all, I think such an option would only introduce more lag. :(

Being able to align to a warp gate ready to run, without having to move from the spot (that your currently mining) would be very useful. _______________________________________________ Jita Traffic Control: You are #3251 in queue for jump-in because its sunday. |

Most of being aligned to warp out is the speed, in bigger ships even moreso. Just because you're pointing in the right direction doesn't mean you'll get away! :) _________________________________________________________

yes it would serve a purpose. when you stop your ship it gets back "horizontal" which makes alignment being lost sometimes ------

Hence, why you set it to such a low speed to start.
