Someone asked me, while I was mining one day, how a suicide ganker in a brutix was unable to kill me on a suicide run.
I said scroll back from that view you have looking at your own ship and look around you.
What do you see?
He said I see a bunch of mackinaws, and orcas, and haulers and a couple of Scimitars.
I said right how far are those scimitars from my ships?
He said about 40k.
I asked him ever thought what a scimitar with 4 reps on a mackinaw would do for you when the suicide gankers come?
He said no.
I said that's why I am alive and your speaking to me from a pod sitting next to a wreck.
He bought a scimitar about 5 min later.
To all you miners out there put a scimitar with all its reps on your mackinaw and your peace of mind will be yours once again in the belts.

I figured the best way was to put a few extenders for rigs or in mids and then fit all passive resists. Hopefully enough to survive only volley of alpha before the next reloads and concord shows up...or the dps can't burn you down in time.
Also you could have an alt shoot at you in a rookie ship thus bringing concord to your belt already... But having reps only prevents DPS from burning you down... And then you'll need to local tank that logi. |

Problem there is that if there is a certain player who is being all RAAA RAAA YOU CAN'T ALPHA ME , all that happens is that next time two ships show up to blow them up ~just because we can~

True enough but that goes for everything. at which point if someone did just attempt to gank you...move cause their prolly butt hurt now.
Also i'd take more pleasure in knowing your first attempt sucked...maybe your second attempt sucked. And by now you've might have lost nearly as much as I have value wise. So i've already gotten my lulz. |

Vulture for higher resists (and more EHP against an alpha gank) is far more effective.
