With that range will tracking still be an issue? I thought not.

Tracking from 200km away? It may work well but then again it may not. ofc it will depends entirely on what it is you are shooting at and how their pilots are flying their ships etc.
Frigates? It's possible to hit them at 200 if transversal is in the low two digits but don't
expect to hit. Tachys and 1400s are lame ducks for killing frigate hulls. I've completely missed a Hound from 220km away as it was sitting at 0 m/s twice in a row because my Apoc itself was moving at 117m/s... and that was with beams, never mind Tachyons! Dramiels and interceptors will run circles all day around you without breaking a sweat ever. They won't even need a prop mod at all. It's that bad so
know this!
Most cruiser hulls won't be a problem, still, many will out track you if they know what's up. You will score good hits on the likes of Cynabals and Vagabonds
if they are approaching you directly at full steam from 200+km away. On the other hand, you'll probably never score more than a lucky shot if it landed it's favourite orbit on it's preferred kitting range. Get out of there before this have a chance to happen. Speedy interdictors like Sabre and Heretic will out-track your guns at any range if it wants to. You won't hit them if they MWD along a perpendicular path, for one. You would think that at 240km away, tracking wouldn't be an issue against a MWDing shield tanked ship? Sig blood and all that? lol.. That one time, in 6VDT, that Sabre dodged 12 volleys in a row just by flying perpendicular to me. Was both hilarious and embarrassing at once. :D
BS hulls are almost 100% guaranteed to soak the full wrath of your Tachyons or 1400s. Then again, an afterburning nano Typhoon or Armageddon within scrambling range
can handily outfly your tracking. I've done it and it's hilarious.
In short, range DOES mitigate some tracking issues but it's not a given so take great care at stacking odds in your favour. It's EASY to tip the oddd against a sniper. These things are quite restrained... The general consensus said "snipers are dead" for a reason... but that was before tier 3 BCs. They have good scan res and speed to work with... unlike BS like Apoc and Rokh.
Things are a changing. Undock and get out there with your sniper gang.
Try things...
