When ccp says we only give u back whats destroyed in mods............. and the rest if u didnt pick it up .......... its your fault!!!!!!! just want to understand how is it my fault for losing a ship to a bug or a node crash.
some people dont complain too much cause the mods aint really that expensive or not worth it. but what if u using some faction mods that cost quite a bit, wouldnt it suck u losing your ship to a bug or node crash and all you get is your BS back with half the mods.
some people say dont fit faction stuff on your ship when u pvp.............. y have it in game then but when u think about the bugs in the game and alot of node crashes , y risk fitting these mods anyways?.
im not really complaining on losing my faction fitted geddon, if i lost it in a good fight i be happy but not to a node crash and insane lag. and u know whats more funny is i didnt get a killmail for my ship neither did the people that killed me, but i got insurance pay back lol
anyways i did petiton it , my point is getting your ship back with all its mods as it wasnt the players fault. Im paying money for this game i think we all desrve better support.
You dont work your butt off for month and month to get isk and buy the best of mods and then you go lose it to a bug thats not your fault and u get scammed off your months of hard work
u guys think thats fair?

If you die then you have 2 hours with which to get your stuff back before can pops.
So someone loots it? Would you advocate that they then have to give it back, or lose the isk they sold it for. Or moreover add another one for free into the game? _______

You're missing his point. He's quite happy to lose that stuff in a good fight, but for it to go due to a node crash is just galling. I happen to agree.

Can it be proven that it was lost to a node crash? Client side logging can't be trusted, the word of the pilot sure as hell can't be trusted, so ... server side logging? Pretty sure that's not up to snuff either.
Thus, we're left with the current policy, which can be unfair, but at least takes liars into account.

No lag ever came from a CCP server and nodes don't "crash" so whatever you've lost is 100% entirely your fault and CCP is doing you a huge favor even replying to your petition, let alone actually GIVING you some of your stuff back.
If it were me, I wouldn't "give" you anything but, I would sell your stuff back to you at a price slightly below market value IF YOU WERE LUCKY and wrote a 1000 word essay on why you think you are so freakin special.
