After waiting ages for someone to program texas hold-um, I started thinking, why can't we use an outside source for playing the games, such as Yahoo card games. (Just an example because I know Yahoo has the game) Everyone playing would give isk to one person and that person would divy out the prize isk at the end. I think finding a trustworthy person would be the hardest part of doing it this way.
Is there any reasons this couldn't be done? User agreements and such.
Any ideas/feedback would be appreciated.

This can be done and works, its been tried before...
Shamis Orzoz,myself, and others had a Texas Hold'em Poker tourney on yahoo back in early 2004... I just got lazy and tired of organizing stuff..

Not trying to necro here, but I think this sounds like a great idea. If people are still interested in it, we should collaborate and try to setup a date. I'd definately be in for it, so let's get this thread restarted and anyone who would like to join post!

Hehe I just posted a similar thread. Guess I should have read down more. I am planning on putting them together. I will begin with trusted friends, but anyone is welcome to join. I plan to be the banker, but am not set on it. A third party site like Pokerstars.com that have anti-collusion (people messaging each other privately about what their hands are) software is important. That is really my biggest concern, but their sotware flags collusion patterns really really well. I would be more than happy to put a small tourney together anytime with any of you guys. I think as the ball gets rolling it will build steam. There are plenty of poker fans out there. Ill try to get in touch with you all in game. Dud)
