It would sure be nice if I could get rid of the corporate members that don't have active accounts anymore. Out of about 20 members only about 7 are active these days.
It's ridiculous that I don't have anyway of knowing whens the last time they've online... or if their account is active anymore or even if they've been banned....
anyone else have this problem?
Is sending an email threatening to expell them if they don't respond in 30 days the only option?

Why wait 30 days? If you haven't seen them in a week and they didn't tell you they were going on vacation give them 7 or 14 days. Then hand them a pink slip.

I would send them an evemail, asking where they are and give them some time to respond, maybe 5-7 days. Then I would remove their access to hangers and send a second evemail, asking them to reply in 5-7 days. If there's no word from them I would fire them...

another way would be to send them an email stating that they were fired due to u not knowing if they are active and that they can rejoin if they want to. And then kick them all.

erm, i guess the question was how to tell people are only playing with anonther alt.
and sending a mail is not an option with the current poor mail-system.
ceo should have the option to send a pop-up at least.

OT: Wrangler, does that sig confirm that the modsquad actively /warp 's to you and blasts you to bits if you happen to post something that requires editing/locking on the forums?

a popup's not really a good thing to get when in the middle of a battle.
Mail with 7-14 days notice then boot them. If they had a reason to be gone, I'm sure they'll let you know about it once they discover that they've been booted from the corp.

k. first we re talking about people who are not online. so it s rather unlikely that the popup will disturb them in combat. second it could be a "display on log in" popup anyway. third, throwing out people or threatening to do so is not a good thing if you want to build thrust. if i had some real probs and get back online after a week, i d consider taking some corp stuff with me if i found such a message.
