I bought one on escrow the other day. For a stupid amount of ISK. But hey, my Vindi deserves the best. 5 800s loaded instead of 4, \o/. Anyway, I was wondering how they are introduced into the game. Cosmos? Mission drops? NPCs? Complexes? Rewards for events? (IMO most likely a event reward).
Because I said so...

4 charges, 12 rof, 10 second reload. That's 58 seconds.
4 charges at 800 cap each = 3200 cap
3200 / 58 = 55.172 cap/second
Heavy II
5 charges, 15 rof, 10 second reload. That's 85 seconds
5 charges at 800 cap each = 4000 cap
4000 / 85 = 47.059 cap/second

T2 cap boosters totally suck...

Now factor in the time for three reloads. The T2 injector makes more sense when you're having to fight for an extended amount of time, which is what I'm planning on. Multiple opponents, 2 or 3 or 4 vs 1. Plus the one extra cap charge able to be carried is an additional 800 units of cap that I simply can't have on board with the other injectors.

Read the maths. That's including the reload time. The T2 is just totally worse.

Nor did he suggest it would be 4 battleships 
Even so, a good vindi pilot with pricey fitting is a VERY dangerous ship. Until he gets ECMed...

I've used it to go head to head with 3 BS before, but yes, I knew that they wern't the sharpest of pilots. A truely prepaired gang of PVPers would be able to take a Vindi down quite quickly.

Wont be so dangerous after changes tux proposed biggest enemy of blasters are no cap.

I would love to see a rupture kill a vindicator fitted with even just t2 fittings.
Makes me think some characters don't even log into the game, they just troll the forums.
