During the night you password protected your CFS channel. Neat, now I can't leave it and I can't delete it because it requires the password.
CCP you are also stupid morons, whomever said "Geez, to leave a channel or delete it from the channel list must requirer the password to the channel" is one dumb mofo.

I miss the CFS channel too. It was fun and I was starting to like those CA people. Anyway here is what some dude said:

you can give other people mod ablities too, so they can gag, boot, and set passwords too
just make sure you keep the CHannel Operator password to yourself if you dont want others doing things

Hi
As the CFS channel was a good meeting point, I will be opening a channel called The Bar. This will be a neutral ground meeting point for anyone in Eve to meet chew that fat, throw insults etc , etc.

I wasnt aware the CFS channel had been removed as I'm winding down my playing time. It was originally intended as a public channel so people travelling in CFS space could get pirate warnings, warn others where the pirates were and say hello. In recent weeks its turned into a smack-talk network channel and wasn't useful anymore.

Well, the action with the channel was a lil overboard, but was done in efforts to elevate the tensions and misunderstandings that could be caused during the cease-fire time.
It shows that attempts are being made toward Peace.

We had no choice but to close it and open another one exclusively for members - it was being used as a source of missinformation and just got to be chaotic.
Look out for a new public channel coming soon :)

Why didn't you leave CFS the way it was, and open a new channel for your internal business? :)
I shall miss the personalities there.

Because people were doing stupid stuff, like impersonating CFS, announcing imaginary attacks etc etc - it was causing too much trouble for us, and the unwary traveller.
Don't worry - we will open it again sometime soon ;)

Hi
To all those complaining about the CFS channel being closed, Go to "The Bar" this room is not aligned to any factions or corps. So will not be closed due to wars or disputes etc, etc.
I know I'm pushing this room a bit but I also enjoyed meeting the peeps in the CFS channel and think its important to create a venue that is open to all and will not be closed or moderated due to any Eve strife.
