It is 2015 outside and i still have to type password anytime i switch character on same account. So annoying. |

they had one (well it let you log out so you went back to the login screen), it was removed for (if i recall correctly) security reasons...
Its not perfect but i just leave the launcher running, which while imperfect is a pretty good way to go about it... |

According to one of the devs at a previous Fanfest, doing this would require a major rewrite of core game code.
Just leave the launcher logged in. Hitting Play again has pretty much the same effect, it even disconnects the current client. |

I want a button that will lead me to character select screen
i can switch to another char from same account without typing again the password
do you have the option to keep the launcher open when entering the game?
if it remains open then you are kept logged in, just close eve client and press launch again (on the launcher) and you arrive at char selection screen
true it would be nicer to make it easier to change chars

it wasn't just at a fanfest, this was back in csm8 I think, the minutes said "it would take a team of 5 devs 6 months for a 15 second advantage" and they stated they would not do it and waste manpower on that, but they will waste time making different ships OP claiming that it will be retweaked, and tweaked yet again and again.
CCP doesn't have a good set priorities a lot, and we have no idea of whats on the list, plus they let the players make the choices a lot for better or worse and then waste time on fixing those probably not knowing what we are capable of.

15 seconds X 20 000 people loggin in&off everyday X 10 times = 833 manhours everyday. lol
yeah.. last new ships show that this game is defenatly goes down.. :(
and i wonder what will they do when SC will be launched.. |
