Thread to see how many other people agree that we should be able to have active training on all 3 characters on our account.
Eve currently has the highest cost per month of any MMO on the market, and yet we are forced to have multipicle accounts active if we want to train a alt up. Not sure if this has ever been possible, but hope it will be in the future.
Maybe if we get enough replys for it CCP will implament this in the future who knows, i recently heard they had 1000 petitions to increase rep amounts from logistics, and they are doing that - sounds like a alliance wants to change fleet dynamics to me, but hey im sinicle.

You can't level up two characters at the same time in any other major MMO, why should eve differ in this respect?

If CCP did this, probably a lot of players who have currently multiple accounts would cancel some of their alt accounts.
CCP would lose money, so they will not do it.

People switch identities, log on carrier, log on spy, log support and logistics on. Be right back, I hotswitch to probing pilot, "oh, no, a gas site, let me grab another toon".
You'd see too much of eve too fast, grow bored of it times 3 square faster. If you know too many aspects, try too many things at once - you get that ****** flavor, which you want to wash down. Like that Swedish Table which offers everything, you taste too much, you have strange feeling in your bowels. Next day you don't want another bite, not for the next 2 weeks. |

Faster then you think. There are 8000 Threads in the Character Bazaar. Twice as many as GD. Imagine how quick those character prices would drop if people had 3x as many Characters and get old enough that they feel they don't need them. Farming alts to sell would be so easy you could Sub buy a 60 Day Time Code and purchase a 15mil SP Character right off the bat.
Hell inside of six months you could train your character to Lvl 4's farm ISK and buy a Carrier Alt. People on the WoW Boards would be complaining about how in EVE they can get get a Character to Capital Ships before they reach 80. |

Keeping 1 queue up to date is plenty for me. I Don't want to have to manage/plan 2 more.
In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has angered numerous people for many different reasons and is widely considered as a 'bad move'. |

They don't make money letting you train alts on one account. So never gonna happen.
Also, everything an alt can do can be done by another player. Y'know, cuz it's a multiplayer game and the point is for people to work together and interact, otherwise just go play any number of 1-player Space Sim games out there. I hear there's even a tears-mod floating around that makes NPCs QQ and post threads when you blow them up.

No. If you want to train another character, then open another account.
You say Eve is the highest cost per month, I'd like to see the facts behind this statement please.

This won't happen, ever. I'd like to see some improvements to switch training from one character to the other without the million clicks solution like stopping the queue, logging out, logging in and activate it on the target character.

It would be nice to have one character's skill que be working at all times as default, but then being able to override it as an option on your current character that is being played at the time.
That is, suppose one of your character has a month long skill training. You log on to another. Right now, you try to learn a skill and a message comes up that you can't start a skill to be learned because another character in the account is training. The option I was thinking is let the character override the skill que for a time being and reactivate that other que when you are done.
Another option to this would have a single skill que but allow for the ability for all three characters their own slots within it. This would keep the necessity of only a single character training at a time, but making it flexible to set up your training between the three characters rather then exclusively one at a time. |
